  1. Suggested Carey a while back. Reckon he could be very good. When trying to recruit him, send Brad Miller and his missus along, we may be in with a shot then :D
  2. While I agree with most of what you said, I disagree slightly with these two points. I expect us to do very well with the rising star next year. Players who I think will qualify and should stand a good chance of a nomination would be Watts, Strauss, Marric (?), Grimes (?), Trengove, Scully, possibly Blease and our pick 18. As for winning the rising star, I don't care but I do expect most of the players named to play well enough at times to give a nomination a fair crack. I also think we will start the season better than we will end it, depending of course on the FIXture. I'll be disappointed with any less than 8 wins, though aknowledging injuries will be a factor. We will probably have the leagues youngest list next year so I would expect them to tire a bit as the season goes on.
  3. Think you'll find a couple of us who post more on 'ology are huge wraps for this kid, with the cheer squad being led by Deestroy All.
  4. Use the PSD's first pick to screw with other clubs. For example, go to Lake and offer him a very good sum if he comes in the PSD. That gives us the ability to use one of our tall defenders, Warnock or Rivers to improve one of our trades. If it works great, if not, it will hurt the dogs (or others).
  5. If Cousins hadn't have fumbled his head would be in a different position and would not have been touched. If he hadn't have fumbled, a bump was the only legal option to retard Cousins. Maybe Cousins should get 2 weeks as his fumble led directly to head high contact. This suspension is a joke, though not as big a joke of the hastily worded rules.
  6. Rhino, reckon he'd have played 250 if not for so many injuries. Play him Bails, he deserves it!
  7. Ye of little faith. 5 goals at half time...
  8. Paul should be proud. It's a pity his body has let him down so frequently in the past. That said, it's time. We need some room on the list, we have list cloggers contracted next year and Paul is not part of our future.
  9. Bruce is coming out of contract and should be included in the options here.
  10. We'll smash them. 5 goals plus depending on our accuracy.
  11. Anyone that is n the record here for praising Daniel Ward's kicking ability is not to be takentoo seriously.
  12. What????? It's simple, the only way we avoid the spoon and get the PP is that we beat Freo and Freo only. They must then go on and lose their last 2 games (as we will).
  13. The Son of Balls??? Bring it on!! Now if someone will draft Wallace's son
  14. Agree with the suggestion, but would lessen the pool of teams that can get the first pick. Ie bottom 6 or bottom 4 then by ladder order. Sorry if already suggested, can't be bothered reading all right now
  15. I wouldn't listen to me on this. To say I know next to nothing about fashion is an understatement. It's probably a safer bet to do the opposite of what I say. Get more opinions before listening to this fashion wasteland
  16. The hoodies and men's jacket look like the have elastic at the bottom. Am sure some people like them that way but not my cup of tea.
  17. We will be delisiting at least 5 probably 6 players, even more. If we keep these older guys, then who goes. For mine of those you listed, Junior, Robbo and the wrecker would go. I'd try and get a third round pick for Bruce.
  18. Think you'll find we could get 1 and 4 if Freo finish last, then us then West Coke, with us and WC getting PP's. PP1 Demons PP2 WC 1 Freo 2. Demons 3. WC
  19. Cheers mate. Those three did burst onto the scene and show things that backs up your point. Jurrah has done nothing in his first few games when compared to them.
  20. As for Brock, this being the case, then rest him, it is crazy to risk hurting him. Get him the hell right for next year! As for Bruce, being played out of position?? What is his position? He is a versatile player, a rare breed that can play forward, mid or back and has shown this many times through his career. To say he is being played out of position while questioning everyone else's intelligence is not very bright.
  21. No argument here. Point is he has what it takes, for some reason he's not delivering.
