  1. Don't worry about the $ fork, between us all, we'll raise whatever is needed. I'm very confident of that.
  2. Change the $20 I have pledged to $50 if we get it.
  3. Hope we just buy it and then worry about the finances, I'll happily chip in more if we get it and am sure many would.
  4. How are you going to collect the money? Any idea of how much it will cost to frame it? How are you going to send it to the community? Great idea BTW, well done.
  5. Again, I don't care. Hell, I'd prefer to see Bell playing Bruce's position this week. More seriously, I'd like to see Grimes play his role. The team is being moulded this year, examples set this year can last with players forever.
  6. Nope. Nor do I care. Not arguing the case for him being dropped on team balance. Dropping him would make the team weaker this week. Stronger in the long run.
  7. Fair point. Still feel a big statement could have been made and wasn't.
  8. I was thrilled last month when Robbo was dropped for poor defensive efforts and not doing the team thing. I said in one of my comments on Bruce's performance that what he did this week at the selection table would show us even more about Bailey as a coach. Last game, we had a senior player, a member of the leadership team put in less than whole-hearted efforts with the defensive side of the game. They were unacceptable. This week, our coach had the chance to make an even bigger statement than the one with Robbo. He didn't. Whether Dean will be remembered as a Rohde or a Clarkson remains to be seen. But here, he missed a chance to really impose his game on the team. Dean - you have fumbled the ball.
  9. Bailey for another year. If next year the team doesn't show a huge employment then.... Leigh Matthews.
  10. That or a 9 year old.
  11. Agree, though I was quite happy with Dean's appointment. Am quite worried he will be remembered more like Peter Rohde than an Alistair Clarkeson. What he does this week will tell me a lot about him. IMO Bruce had 3 pathetic defensive efforts. Robbo was dropped for similar weak efforts, if Bruce is then my hopes for Dean will remain positive. Thought he made a big mistake appointing Junior as captain and Bruce winning last years Bluey make me doubtful about Dean and those around him.
  12. The chases in the 2nd were pathetic. Then there was the attempted tackle on Harry O'Brien.... Bruce should go to Casey for such weak efforts.
  13. how many threads a day on the one topic?
  14. Not a good thought.
  15. He may be better than Miller, not Bate. He may yet become an AFL player, but I hold out no hope for him. I may be wrong, you could be right. I once thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
  16. Thanks mate, gave me a good laugh. I presume that's what you were trying to do.
  17. So far he has played as many games as NikNat.
  18. Not sure about Tassie, but Western Sydney should go by the name of "Shooters"
  19. Sure Jones has some areas of his game he needs to improve, kciking being one of them. But I see him as an invaluable member of the team. Does anyone else see the irony of a poster called 'Bruce Almighty' calling for a 21 y.o. to be dropped for turning the ball over, focusing on his kicking???
  20. Thought he was going to dedicate himself to playing golf when he retired from the AFL
  21. As a percentage of his earnings, he probably contributed more than anyone else in the room.
  22. Think you'll find he was referring to the Lions team that won 3 in a row
  23. Great work Diablo, Thanks.
