And had you answered before or did you just have a heap of generalisations and say nothing? The Sylvia point was highlighting how far off the standard the other two are. A simple point I would have thought. Obviously not simple enough for you.

Halls actions were perfectly understandable. Should cop nothing more than a fine

Something Brock was good at.... in the spirit of these thread I also suggest we send Watts, Scully and Trengove to Casey. Maybe Grimes too. These young guys are showing plenty. We wouldn't want them to get hurt.
-
So who do we bring in? Spencer has played. Was useless. PJ played and was worse than useless. Give me a 186 cm Sylvia over these 2. That leaves Fitzpatrick and the injured Gawn and Meeson. So Dappa, which of these back up ruckmen should play and whom will they replace?

Bate was great. Bruce was Bruce, very poor disposals. The stats are a load of crap. Watch how many of his looping handpasses lead to a player have to break stride and prop to receive them. Look at how many time his handball recipients are tackled within 2 seconds of the poor handball. Look at his loopy snap-pass, that wouldn't even be counted as a clanger but was a shocker by any standards. His time is limited.

Demonland.com ranked 16th Aussie Rules Website
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I find it quite amazing, not only is Demonland ranked first among supporter sites, Demonology is ranked 2nd. Anyone questioning Melbourne supporters passion just needs to see this (or is it that we have the most computer geeks ) -
Mate, as you are new here, let me give you a heads up, regular readers of these boards pay little to no attention to this bloke.
-
Sure you did
-
Like it but can't see the Poohs going for it. I've posted similar on 'ology but pick 34 and Bell for pick 27.

Me work for 9? LMAO. Yep I flew down from Coffs Harbour for the night. I've already told you in this thread that the segment was for the footy show, 3 days later and you continue with the "free to air" BS. You changed tact when you heard it was a heavy edit after claiming it was a light one and just criticised them for giving him a mic. Obviously comprehension is beyond you on the first reading so let me repeat, Fev is not in trouble for anything that was shown on the footy show.
-
They knock you back for a job? Nine didn't escape scott free, you're not the only person in this world who has to blame everyone. Nine got screwed by Fev, often the brownlow street talk is good value, this year it was pathetic as they showed the few short clips they could of Fev and nathan Brown's lame efforts to recover the segment. I like how you've criticised them for a light edit, found out it was more so and changed tact to it now just being for giving him a microphone. Love the consistency pal.

Choco playing games??
-
From what they said they showed very little of his street talk, as most of it was unsuitable. Again, I stress, he was in trouble before any footage aired... He was carted and making a fool of himself before the count was even half way through the season, nine can't be blamed for that.
-
It wasn't 'live' or close to it. They were filming a piece for a segment 3 days later. Fev was in trouble long before the show aired...
-
Mate, I too am enjoying the situation they find themselves in. The response was a bit rude sorry, but while I have no time for Channel Eddie I find it remarkable that anyone would blame them for what happened with Fev. Blame should first go to Fev. Then Judd and the Blues officials. Crown should be included. The AFL, nine, hell, even I should get some of the blame...
-
Blah, blah, blah... PSD?? Won't / can't happen. Channel 9 ? Blah blah blah. He'd done street talk before at the brownlow... What about the blues captain next to him and the officials at the table facing some scrutiny for letting him get in the state he was in as they sat there giggling. They are also the same tools who removed the behavioural clause from Fev's new contract, less than a year after they inserted one into his old contract. Carlscum have no interest in trading Fev IMO, they just want the world to think they do and that they tried to make a deal happen. How about Fev take responsibility for himself, it's not like he doesn't have a history of it.

Dees hope to tighten draft range
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to The Lobster Effect's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's exactly what we will be trying to do. We need some space, Carlton have shown a liking to some of our players and are said to be interested in Bell, so why not try give them him and pick 34 for pick 27? Can't hurt to try... -
Wikipedia told you we are talking rubbish?
-
While technically we exchanged Thompson for pick, we effectively traded Thompson who wanted to leave for Moloney, a player we wanted and Geelong had to give us to get our pick from Thompson to land Ottens. A simpleton would say we let him go for a pick, so go ahead.
-
  Sad thing is I think you are serious.
-
As I said elsewhere, hysterical child. Brock and Murphy may be different types of players, but only fools who rate Ward as a good kick would reckon Brock will be the more valuable of the two.
-
My God you are an hysterical child. The trade is a win. Brock was surplus stock. Bloody joke of a poster.
-
I've read it and laughed at those who weren't keen on it. That said, I've read regular posters here who claim that Ward was a good kick . It'd be fair to say that I don't pay much attention to what the majority think.
-
This trade is a huge win for the Demons. Good luck to Brock but not to his new team, provided we have some luck we'll look back at this trade thrilled as we have with Trappers.
-
Shades? C'mon Rogue. Jolly is way better than Jamar. I'd take pick 8 or 9 in a heartbeat, but there is no way Port would be that stupid.
