  1. Hi all, I have received the digital demons text, offering me Kayo at $350 for the year. Seems a good price compared to normal. Do I just cancel my current membership and rejoin through this? WIll that work?
  2. Yep, smooth mover, good footy brain, good skills at some of the preseason sessions I saw. Also a tall lad who will fill out over time.
  3. 2nd highest points for…
  4. Biggest issue was how we got cut up by their pace and method off their hb line, leading to easy shots on goal. Do we have plans on how to defend it, apart from dominating clearance and not turning it over in space??
  5. Feels like Alice Springs all over again!
  6. At least he wont have to work hard to learn the song- and never sang the weasels one!
  7. Play Koz, then send him up to Nan’s for a week or so. Then back to Melbourne into a final training block for 4 April….
  8. They should send a big box to AMW as he has a bit of time to build the Death Star or the Millennium falcon…
  9. Looks like we are allowing them to get it forward so we can defend. Slow exits and zero midfield pressure
  10. Doing some things well, then gets beaten. A mixed bag, but it is not a bad showing by any means
  11. Umps are getting lot of practice at blowing the pea!
  12. Very nicely. Old Clay is back…
  13. Would you prefer to cop it from Kenny’s Carr Or Horse’s Cox? Let’s see how these 2 handovers play out….
  14. It’s a lovely spot in England.

It will sell papers in the west. They cant land him and the dodger from the swans. Would take 3 first rounders. Also, he has NO interest in going home, with his partner and her family from Melb (as i understand it)…. So.. F off click baiters
  16. Kenny, brad Scott and Goody would all be in trouble with that outcome, maybe also Bevo.

In the style of ‘A clockwork Orange’ please, PF!
  18. I thought the phases were in front of the ball, behind the ball, and in the contest. That is, forwards, defence and midfield. Last year we were poor in each of these, so a 5% improvement in any/each area could add significantly to our overall performance.
  19. i also attended this morning, but for only an hour or so in the middle of the session. If I was Werridee, I would be going out of my head trying to fit about 35 players into the 22. The only real player who looked below standard at this point was Verall, who I hope can step up over time. Roy George was training with the squad and fitted in well. His move and snap from the pocket during sims was roundly applauded - but no by Chocko. Kid was called in and a chat ensued about AFL speed and pressure and the need for him to take easier options when they presented. Max and Jake Melksham were walking the boundary, chatting about the world. Looked relaxed. The comments about turnovers were accurate. I’m sure that this is all good at this point, and that the nature of the game is based upon turnovers being generated (the defensive side doing good) and responding when it happens to you. The skills in the no contest drills were pretty good, however. The nature of what we are trying to do this year is interesting - we work to hold width as an outlet if needed, but first call is to look at the corridor. Langford spent some time in the focus vest, suggesting he is going to be important in setup this year. T Campbell and AJ both impressed with their efforts, skills and positioning. I see some really good efforts from Clarrie, Trac, Salo, - all who will really add to what we delivered in 2024 into 2025. The sprinting to the drinks station is about setting standards - it looks really good when they all finish a drill then race to the drinks station. Thats about it, will answer any questions. Don’t know if i can get down there after the break, but thought I would add my eyes to the track watchers a few times to help out and do my bit.
  20. No one is allowed to burn the house down then?
  21. I think just having a fit Trac and Clarry would offer that - we lost a bucket of games by less than a goal. new forward line structures and new players in vs the loss of ANB?? Think we are all good, if we remain healthy.
  22. He grabbed his right hammy during a drill and stretched it out after a run around the boundary. Suspect it was ‘awareness’ and the hammy is what has been troubling him..
  23. he was involved, ran hard, handled the ball well, linked up with the forwards and seemed to really ‘fit in’ for the first time.
  24. No stress, I don’t know, it was just what I observed…
  25. The orange vest seemed to be a ‘focus player’ in corridor drills, used by both sides to run through the middle and connect. Trac and Kossy both has runs in the vest. They were tackled, so it wasn’t a contact thing. I think it is about creating a focal run through player to assist rapid corridor transitions that everyone can work off/to.
