Does it seem strange to anyone else that Jones can poll more votes than pendlebree and selwood (he polled the same amount of votes as both of them put togethor) yet he only gets 17 points in the bloody rising star. I mean I know Selwood has been playing with a lot of superstars, possibly making it harder to stand out but I definately think that Jones is more of a match winner. It is much easier to play good football if the team is able to feed the ball to you a lot. DOnt get me wrong, I think Selwood is going to be (and is) a fantastic player but it will be interesting to see how he goes when Geelong are 14th on the ladder. Will he be a favourite to get the clubs best & fairest next year???

Let's be hypothetical and say that Chris Judd rules out all the clubs not at the MCG which leaves Melbourne and Collingwood. Apart from his previous loyalties, do we have anything to offer Judd? They have better training facilities until we move, but we will be sharing after that. They have bigger crowds Ian Johnson can offer his missuss a job, yet so can Eddie. We have a great young list, they have DALE Thomas. We have a new coach and a great start, they have up tp date technology like at WC. I don't like saying this, but it's better not to get our hopes up. What have I missed?

-I disagree, I want Bailes to make his own judgement of the team without danihers loyal influence (ie godfrey, ward, miller, giving up jolly). this way dean bailey can come in and make a fresh start and the players will have to EARN his respect. That's right...play well or there a GONER!! currans gone, rileys gone, fagans gone, danihers gone, now we have BAILEY, CONOLLY, and some new coaches who we dont really know too much about. i just hope the fitness coach lifts his game under deans instruction or is cut. go dees
