The general concensus amongst many ( and I mean MANY ) Melbourne fans is that the lighter blue as you put it..or the Royal Blue 80's jumper ought be all but burnt and never see daylight again.. yes I was al lwarm and fuzzy when he couldnt even make the simplest of goal conversions early in the 2nd !! Honestly is there a worse kick for a supposedly elite player.?? I thought overall teh Sandy effort was understandably lacklustre. Very littel to take away from it other than Valenti does have a real crack. Agreed certainly worth putting in and leaving in the Dees for rest of year and watch. Carroll and Jamar to me showed why they really ought not get to much more consideration at the elite level. Carroll all too often can lax into a very undisciplined style of play. His general skill level is at VFL level.. Jamars is definitely at VFL level.. he sort of has moments of glistening in the sun as such as result.. but whilst he shines occasionally here...he loses his sparkle at the next step up. Has next to NO awareness of his opposition. Bell is an awkward fish. in this manner. Looks quite poised at VFL.. gets caught out at AFL. His efforts are not disiimilar at either..just the results. Buckley ahs al lthe endeavour in the world.. just poor execution and decisions at times. The remedy for him is "reprogramming".. ... i.e get him thinking better. If he cant ..jettison !! Whos affraid of the big bad wolf ?? Meesen must be !! Must have only one jumper and has no OMO to wash it if it gets dirty !! can be only explanation of why such a big fella goes to water near the ball.

Keep in mind 4 wins and a draw also disqualifiies. 3 wins and 2 draws ( however unlikely ) doesnt. This is where the notion of 16.5 points comes in. Its un ambiguous. Its not wins..its points
