Seems to be an emphysis on tapping the ball along the ground to our favour rather than picking it up that i haven't seen before. Could be part of Goodwins plan or i might be reading too much into a training drill.

Trengove seems to have the ball on a string. Everwhere he runs the ball keeps coming to him.

I have family that play in the AFL, have been on AFL lists previously and are still aspiring to get drafted. I can assure you at Christmas when we all catch up, table tennis, pool (snooker), chin up competitions and anything else that we can possibly compete at are front and centre of our Christmas Day celebrations. You do not get on an AFL list without being extremely competitive. You can't just put the cue in the rack at training in case someone else gets hurt. You would have never got there in the first place with that kind of mentality.

Neil Balme was brutally honest about captains day on SEN this morning. Said wasted of time and they would be better off at training. That just could be because Richmond don't have a captain though. They might have if their medical staff weren't so prudent.

I heard the Tom McDonald interview this morning. He has a quiet confidence about him bordering on arrogance. I liked what i heard. You need a personality (self belief) like that to be a champion.
