  1. Hobbled off the ground and Swans backline looks seriously exposed
  2. Pretty open game so far; seen any serious tackles?
  3. meh massive mistake moving on...
  4. Miles is another NQR I reckon - not sure he’d replace anyone as an inside mid for us

    that is an appalling record
  6. 2018 season career averages:
  7. i still see him as bomber-bound as senior assistant
  8. except of course that he's 'in' at the moment
  9. tigers should do the pies, but you just never know...
  10. clearly down on confidence and looks uncertain of his role hoping that he has a cracker 100th game and returns to form on route to a glorious 2018 premiership
  11. yes, he really is that slow his kicking is up and under and he doesn't hit the scoreboard he wouldn't improve our side one iota
  12. interesting that they're reporting it as alternatively 'shin splints', 'bone soreness', 'bone stress', etc. etc sounds like he's fractured his fibula, which is terrible luck for the kid
  13. He’ll be 31 next year, can’t get a game for the Saints, is slower than both Vince and Lewis... I hope we don’t go anywhere near him personally
  14. eesh
  15. me too, primarily cos he was an obvious 'asset' ecstatic to see his turnaround in form, and more than happy for him to stay and continue on the way he's going
  16. good result, now to just fix his cleanliness with the ball up
  17. No he wasn’t; he was well beaten on the lead and the Cats’ mids - who had ZERO pressure on them from our mids, for the most part - put it down his throat as they lowered eyes going i50 I want Kent in if he’s GTG; JKH is the obvious out Crows may ‘play tall’ with Walker, Jenkins, McGovern, but Lynch is effectively a push-up mid for them - he just happens to be tall On the weekend past, it was their mid-sized forward who did the damage on the scoreboard, not their talls Walker - O Mac Betts - Jetta Jenkins - Frost McGovern - J Smith Lynch - Vince Greenwood - Lewis But, quite frankly, our match-ups won’t make a lick of difference if our mids don’t do their job defensively on the likes of Crouch, Sloane, Gibbs, et al
  18. Gawn, T Mac, Lever would seem to be the next rung of on / off field leaders

i don't think west coast would want tyson or garlett, and i doubt picks that we will be able to offer them (e.g. this year's second rounders that we hold) will do them much good they'll either keep gaff or let him walk and use the compo pick, either as a trade or as an actual pick the general story today seems to be that they're keeping him and mcgovern and lycett, which seems remarkable - some speculation is that most of nic nat's 2019 payments can go into the injury payments, so they get some salary cap relief there, and then he's only contracted til end of 2020 i believe, and obviously won't be paid at the same ratio as current as he'll have missed three prime years of his football life with knee knacks - i'm sure he'll still be on $1m or thereabouts, but in terms of 2021-24 pay that'll be lower portion of cap to his current remuneration

Meth Coke won’t match tho They’ll take their compo pick and trade it for Kelly from Geelong

we don't have to offer anything other than cash he's a free agent
  22. Good theory today is that they’ll now let Gaff go as a free agent and use that compo pick - which will be after their first rounder - to get the homesick Tim Kelly from the puddy tatts
  23. Rumours swirling that McGovern is sticking with meth coke... Gaff...come on down to Demonland
  24. He didn’t actually say that North have made that offer, but that they should
