WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Saw a comment somewhere from a fan saying that he will play a Lynch from Crows style role for us He really doesn’t get a lot of the ball at GW$ Has been able to consistently get on the park tho...

Finals Week 1
I went tonight and at the ground it wasn’t that hard to differentiate the teams It was a pretty ropey game; pies got the early break and that was it terrible skills from both sides; meth coke will feast on cats next week and pies will lose de goey and probably Greenwood Very hard to see either going all the way

Finals Week 1
be interesting to see what happens with whoosh now i agree with @Ethan Tremblay - he'll be senior assistant and advisor for longmuir in 2020
-
Rawlings Leaves
seems like a good guy and someone who knows what he's doing BUT one finals series in eight years time for a different opportunity somewhere fresh good luck to him
-
Josh Jenkins
just rumours at this stage, but everything will come down to this crazy review that the afc are doing i really hope we're not as keen as i think we might be...
-
Josh Jenkins
hmm...........

Karl Amon
cutler talking to pies and blues
-
Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
doesn't qualify for pies as father-son so it's either dees or pot-luck in the draft in a few years time

GWS Surplus
i like the look of bonar primarily based on his underage assessment as a player with strength in the contest and genuine breakaway pace hately and caldwell both look 'neat' footballers as long as one (preferably two!) of them come our way with 13 and 15 in exchange for pick 3 i'm all for the deal being done
-
Jon Patton
yeah it is - he's on a very sticky wicket at gw$ in 2020 if we are pursuing him i'll be interested to see how it plays out, but the general consensus seems to be he's hawks-bound
-
Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
possibly i reckon it's what adelaide would expect for a dual all-australian best and fairest winner in the prime of his career we're also getting amon out of it in this scenario
-
Jon Patton
yep, probably a third round pick...and a salary of around $700k+ next year if the stories are true even if you sign him on a three year deal you're just spreading salary over a three year period for a key forward whose body has thus far shown no ability to get through a full season consistently he'll be 27 next year and should be in the peak of his football years as a key forward but unfortunately he hasn't shown any ability to play consistent football during a season, let alone year-to-year i agree that $cully would be a walk-up start on the wing for us but obviously given the history we were never any shot to get him back i also agree with others that he's not exactly damaging with ball in possession and looks a shadow of his best and most damaging
-
Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
if there was an offer of a top 10 pick for brayshaw i would take it - pick 3 to gw$ for 13, 15, and wantaway vic mid aiden bonar - brayshaw to caaaaaaaaarlton for pick 8, which carlton hold via adelaide - pick 8 back to crows for laird, future second - pick 24 to freo for langdon - crows' future second to pear for amon net result: IN: laird, langdon, amon, bonar, pick 13, pick 15 OUT: brayshaw, pick 3, pick 24
-
Rory Laird
laird is one of the best half-back rebounders in the competition
-
Rory Laird
salary cap management would be interesting; you'd think given that we're bringing langdon in then at least one mid- to premium-tier play would have to depart...or would it? lewis was on a sticky wicket, and jones is going from of our best paid players to one of our lower of the mid-tier players; so would we have the cash to bring laird in? pick 3 to gw$ for (what will end up probably end up, due to priority and academy selections being) pick 13 and pick 15, plus bonar pick 13 to adelaide for laird, pick 24 to freo for langdon, future second for amon go to the draft with 15, which is less than ideal, but bringing in laird, langdon, and amon in one off-season would be an AMAZING result B: Jetta - May - Lever HB: Laird - Frost - Hibberd ? Salem - Harmes - Langdon HF: Petracca - T Mac - Melksham F: Fritsch - Weideman - Hannan Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Viney I/c: Jones - Brayshaw - Petty - Amon Emerg: Preuss - Hunt - Neal-Bullen - Bonar if kk, vandenBerg, or joel smith were ever fit i'd have probably at least two of them in the 22 ahead of jones / brayshaw, amon, and / or petty, with spargo, hunt and bonar out of the squad... i'm VERY keen on laird and langdon being two players we bring in this off-season, while amon is a better than average acquisition too - would definitely be in our side as it stands

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
For context, what votes did other players get?
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I went to the 2017 gf - Lever was outstanding in the first quarter, okay in the second, and like most of his defensive teammates completely overwhelmed by weight of ball i50 against after half time Tigers were absolutely dominant from midway thru second quarter onward Lever is a very, very good player and I remain happy that he’s on our list Just get the body right and get his touch back and he’ll be right

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
you seem to miss the point where he needs to agree to a trade too, and he might not WANT to go north to finish his career, seeing as his wife is based in melbourne, her job is in melbourne, his kids are forming friendship circles here, his brother is about to return to the state, the rest of his family is based here? it's not just down to the team in the afl - the players have a LOT of control over their own destiny, much more so than in the majority of international sports also, there's NO WAY if gc17 are gifted a priority end point pick - which seems a fait accompli - that they won't be taking rowell and anderson as best mates to play together
-
Dan Butler
with the dearth of small forwards who can rotate through the midfield and the demand for them, butler will be in demand at the end of the season from multiple clubs i suspect could yet end up a two-time premiership player if one of castagna, rioli, bolton, etc. were to get injured on the run-in to the tiggas winning it all
-
Brad Hill
historically jones was paid as an a-grader; he's about to be downgraded in player payment structure a c-grader apart from the a-graders who have come to us in the last two seasons (lever and may), i would suspect gawn, oliver, brayshaw, t mac would all be being paid at a-grade level having negotiated new contracts over the last two years as well

Splitting Draft Pick 3
Far more realistic

Eddie Betts
Six twice I thought?
