  1. i thought hibberd was out for two, at least? without knowing who did what at vfl level, hannan for jkh makes sense, and other than that...I would love to see kent or vdb in, but apparently the latter is still a couple of weeks away from having the footballing 'run' in his legs to be picked...
  2. Neither O Mac nor Frost could do anything about the forward entry, and he was just having the ‘read of the play’ of his life People giving up on the season ahead need their head read - we are right in to win every game We can take it up to any team, any where, any time... NOW CAN WE JUST WIN A GAME FOR ONCE FFS
  3. 6: Oliver 5: Harmes 4: Petracca 3: Fritsch 2: Gawn 1: T Mac
  4. Gotta win the next three Unfortunately you could just see it coming They send Gawn off for a blood rule that looked like it could be wiped away to me and they go coast to coast - unfortunately 16.4 is great kicking and 14.14 is not good enough; bad kicking is bad football
  5. it's just fantastic to have someone like gawn involved with our club
  6. if cerra is available - as has been rumoured - i hope we're chasing
  7. what a result for gc17
  8. funnily enough, was talking to a big north person about this yesterday - their feeling is that he'll stay at the dees but they'll still kick the tyres regardless
  9. tasmania! we would not play in nt as a 17 round season model - every game would be a serious event, either home and away it'd be rotated on a yearly basis using next year and 2020 as an example... 2019 round 1: vs geelong at the mcg on saturday at 2:10pm (home) round 2: vs port adelaide at adelaide oval on saturday at 7:50pm (away) round 3: vs sydney at the mcg on friday at 7:50pm (home) round 4: vs gc17 at carrara on saturday at 4:40pm (away) round 5: vs peptides at the mcg on friday at 7:50pm (home) round 6: vs richmond at the mcg on wednesday at 7:50pm (away) round 7: vs brisbane at the mcg on saturday at 2:10pm (home) round 8: vs gw$ at bankstown on saturday at 4:40pm (away) round 9: vs carlton at the mcg on saturday at 7:50pm (home) round 10: vs north melbourne at docklands on sunday at 1:10pm (away) round 11: vs fremantle at perth stadium on sunday at 4:40pm (away) round 12: vs collingwood at the mcg on monday at 3:20pm (home) round 13: vs adelaide at the mcg on sunday at 3:20pm (home) round 14: vs st. kilda at docklands on sunday at 1:10pm (away) round 15: vs hawthorn at the mcg on sunday at 3:20pm (home) round 16: vs meth coke at mcg on saturday at 2:10pm (home) round 17: vs footscray at docklands on saturday at 7:30pm (away) now the times could be different but it could as as easily be flipped for the following year... 2020 round 1: vs geelong at kardinia park on saturday at 2:10pm (away) round 2: vs port adelaide at the mcg on saturday at 7:50pm (home) round 3: vs sydney at the scg on friday at 7:50pm (away) round 4: vs gc17 at mcg on saturday at 2:10pm (home) round 5: vs peptides at docklands on friday at 7:50pm (away) round 6: vs richmond at the mcg on friday at 7:50pm (home) round 7: vs brisbane at the gabba on saturday at 4:10pm (away) round 8: vs gw$ at the mcg on sunday at 1:10pm (home) round 9: vs carlton at the mcg on saturday at 2:10pm (away) round 10: vs north melbourne at the mcg on sunday at 1:10pm (home) round 11: vs fremantle at the mcg on sunday at 2:10pm (home) round 12: vs collingwood at the mcg on monday at 3:20pm (away) round 13: vs adelaide at the adelaide oval on sunday at 4:40pm (away) round 14: vs st. kilda at the mcg on sunday at 1:10pm (home) round 15: vs hawthorn at the mcg on sunday at 3:20pm (away) round 16: vs meth coke at perth stadium on saturday at 7:50pm (away) round 17: vs footscray at the mcg on saturday at 7:50pm (home) and you just continue with the same format forever and a day; you'd probably change what rounds you play, save for the sacrosanct timeslots - e.g. anzac eve (and by default a game against the peptides around that time period) and queen's birthday, plus i would love to have a traditional saturday afternoon match-up btw the two oldest teams in the competition to start each year i still say the reason it WON'T ever happen, beyond the sheer loss of revenue for the afl, is cos of the showdown and derby more than anything...but really they're just part of the money as well!
  10. Is that cos he know he has to be a leader down back these days @Satyriconhome, with Plugger Mac a permanent forward and Lever going down with the knee knack?
  11. Merge with mine? Love Lord Nev
  12. $700k is the old $450-500k I would reckon he’s worth it
  13. #1, #3, and #17 pies, freo, tigers and north the only other teams with three representatives in top 30 these stats are completely meaningless of course; my tigers mate swears blind that grimes should be leading their b&f and that neck tatts is having a 'poor' year the biggest issue with champ data rankings - which is essentially supercoach points - is that they are still dependent upon stats, i.e. possessions and scoring chains etc., meaning that role-players like grimes, or jetta, or alex pearce, or scott thompson are completely absent from consideration
  14. Restricted free agent
  15. i'd still go joel smith over wagner, but we shall see they might both come in given our lack of defender options now suffice to say, demonland whipping boys vince and lewis ain't being dropped
  16. yeah most quads are 6-8 stick a fork in him - his 2018 season is likely done
  17. And that was a Gerard Healy special He stans for Nic
  18. Thought he was simultaneously super defensive and aggressive It was not a good performance at all
  19. whatwhat say what replied to WERRIDEE's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Tyson over Hannan for me We were slaughtered at stoppages against Footscray and we’ll need an extra strong body moving through the middle as I’d expect Scott Selwood to go a hard tag on Oliver which we MAY be able to exploit by rolling him forward Viney has traditionally had a run with role with Joel S - does Harmes get first crack? What about Danger and Jesus? Not to mention Kelly and Duncan? Whole game is a battle of midfielders
  20. Narrow ground has been made narrower as a result of the Ziebell on LED fence injury which - in theory - should help our zone defence and cluster forward formation I’m not remotely confident but am mildly optimistic Hannan out for Tyson the only change I’d look at at this stage, and even that I’m on the fence over Puddy Tatts by 13 points
  21. hogan's mum now lives in melbourne and he grew up going for the crows why on earth would he go back to wa now?
  22. Most media has speculated we ‘might’ be interested in him as he’s a free agent and we have no first rounder to trade to being in a player (FWIW I tend to think he’s worth about what a Melksham or a Hibberd - or a Tyson? - might be worth, which is a mid to high second / low third round pick)
