  1. literally what i just got told as well and if our 'treatment plan' recommended to him is true then our entire medical dept should be sacked immediately for gross negligence
  2. i can't fathom the valuation that the media seems to be putting on him as a second round pick fourth rounder...at best
  3. caro on classified reckons that he'll sign on no worries as he's not actually that upset with the offer put in front of him
  4. i am sure roos finds it absolutely galling that everything that he put in place on-field and to a lesser extent jackson off-field set up has been torn down we have become VERY easy to score against under goodwin, whereas we primarily had a defensive gameplan under roos
  5. the general football public is being set up with the expectation that gc17 will get a pointy end priority pick; i'm firmly of the belief that it'll happen would be interesting to see how anyone values jog brayshaw - speaking to various supporters of oppo teams at work and none of them want him as they see how lazy he is between the contests and how atrocious his ball use is - as at the moment i'd have him rated at a second round pick, at best we might've got a first rounder for him last year if we were brave and traded him while his value was at it's highest point coniglio is a free agent and, if he's going anywhere, it's likely to be to the hawks so he can play with his best mate jaeger o'meara i'm convinced brad hill is geelong bound as part of the tim kelly deal, with the latter more than happy to go to either wa side this year, whereas last year he ONLY wanted to go to meth coke
  6. unfortunately this has been brewing for some time nate was VERY well rewarded for a long time; he knew that at some point that tap was going to be turned off it's no doubt a shock to him that the well is as dry as it is...but if he wants to play afl next year this honestly might be his best chance there's no doubt that it'll be negotiated to have a larger base with incentives but now he knows where he fits in our plans - pretty much on the other side of divide
  7. Gawn Oliver Salem Melksham May Tom McDonald Petracca Jetta Lever Harmes

When things are glum there’s worse to come

The only way I can see gc17 not being given a pointy end priority pick is if they somehow win two of their remaining four games AFL will do everything in their power to give them a massive leg up
  10. whatwhat say what replied to Range Rover's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
he's a bit similar to melksham in some ways; impacts with the ball forward of play he's not quick tho
  11. no priority pick!! we could yet finish stone motherless last!
  12. gc17 all over the peptides currently
  13. based on stats alone, it's hard to justify tim smith being an inanimate carbon ruck / forward rod when preuss is younger and needs the experience more IN: may, melksham, preuss, hore OUT: o mac, anb, t smith, j wagner i would personally drop brayshaw and hibberd, but who for? does jkh get a midfield role and hore takes hibb's spot, meaning j-wag holds his spot on the wing? all such average, average players
  14. are cats cooked? edit: no, no they're not
  15. yes, well, i was being facetious - it'd just be 'so melbourne' to finish second last, be shunted to pick 3 (or later) with a priority pick or two being granted to a franchise, and then with our pick get someone who is set to miss the entire year with an acl
  16. just accept it - we're finishing second last and getting pick three there's no way gc17 won't have their priority wish granted; they're an expansion club who need all the leg-ups they can get it's got nothing to do whether our club protests or not - it's irrelevant, because the afl will ALWAYS favour expansion club wishes over protecting the integrity of the competition it would be hilariously typical / awful if we finish second last, get pick three, and pick the bloke who has just done his acl cos he has 'the most upside' rather than going for someone who can immediately impact and play, like a serong or what have you
  17. It’s going to be...ugly I wonder whether it’s actually the Tiggas’ smalls that I suspect will destroy us Waiting to see how the magoos go tomorrow before thinking about changes But... IN: May, Weed, Dunkley OUT: O Mac, ANB, T Smith Brayshaw should go but I fail to see the point in playing Maynard or JKH, who are the only inside mids left What a glorious season it has been......
  18. 6: Gawn 5: Petracca 4: Harmes 3: Lever 2: Fritsch 1: Frost
  19. LOVED that we we never got a replay of the free to long - i thought it was a perfectly executed tackle and strip from trac
  20. o mac just gives up so, so much legrope
  21. jake carlisle remains one of the dumbest football players ever
  22. atrocious lack of defensive workrate
  23. wow we can't run how unfit are we??
  24. except frost was the match-up then but, really, it's a case of our defenders - other than lever - being atrocious in the air; they just can't read the play whatsoever
  25. too many players give 'one effort' - no secondary workrate whatsoever
