  1. true enough, they were very quiet even when they were up and about
  2. where's that number from? there definitely wasn't that many of them there today, but i would've thought it'd be more than sub 4000
  3. cripps has been struggling since 2019 really; he looks a shadow of his former self and i don't really think he nor the blues are doing the right thing by continuing to play him if he's that seriously injured all the tea leaves seem to be indicating he's signing a four-year extension with the bluebaggers
  4. 6: Salem 5: Lever 4: Oliver 3: McDonald 2: Langdon 1: Fritsch ANB and May both really good too, as was Jordon
  5. Raining all thru half time and looks to be getting heavier from my spot on level 2 We are playing middling football but so are they Salem the only clean user
  6. this "lever cost two first round draft picks" narrative that gets trotted out ignored WHERE those first round picks were and what else was bundled with them pick 10 in 2017 and (what ended up being) pick 19 and pick 59 in 2018 for lever, pick 35 in 2017, and (what ended up being) pick 47 so it was jake lever, harrison petty (pick 35), and matthew parker (selected by the aints at pick 47) for lochie o'brien (pick 10), liam stocker (pick 19), brett bewley (pick 59) i'd say we're 'winning' that trade by the length of the flemington straight
  7. also haven't lost anything...
  8. other than zerrett and kelly i think the others would be perfect role-players for what we want, but all will likely command far more $s than we would likely have spare given the signing spree to begin 2021 of those ooc for us, only anb and weed and must-signs for mine i have faith that our salary cap management is not like the filth
  9. straight swap for dom tyson
  10. free agent is our best chance to add immediate best 11 quality, but no idea what salary cap room we have available zerrett from the peptides is the obvious target other options are less appealing on the free agency market, but i'd rank the next top five as: marcus bontempelli (footscray) cam guthrie (geelong) jake kelly (gw$) jack billings (aints) jake kolodjashnij (geelong) would happily add any of those six named to our side, and would argue that all bar the last two would be in our top dozen players
  11. seems it's gotta go 35m to qualify as a mark this weekend...
  12. "perryman runs his full measure" you mean, he runs out of the square, runs THIRTY METRES WITHOUT BOUNCING THE BALL, then kicks it? when are they going to start calling these point kicker-inner-ers who run almost to the 50m arc without bouncing the ball?
  13. it's the jesse of old for gw$ easton wood looks to have done a hammy for footscray
  14. couple of good match-ups tonight
  15. thanks for the updates all
  16. north coming hard at the hawks
  17. that is tough - relatively undersized i would've thought, about the same size as joel smith, up against jenkins who'd have 10+ cm on him
  18. given that petty is now lining up for the dees and majak is being deployed forward / ruck, is hutchins the primary key defender?
  19. still has two seasons remaining on his whopping nine year deal
  20. it's a dee-pressing day when yr kinda sorta (but not really fully committed to) barracking for the filth
  21. isn't that cos for the most part they've played at night and / or out at olympic stadium?
  22. is there confirmation that petracca isn't playing? if he isn't, sparrow would presumably be the next cab off the midfield ranks OUT: petracca, jackson IN: weideman, sparrow starting 22(+1)... B: Hibberd - May - Lever HB: Hunt - Petty - Salem C: Langdon - Jordon - Brayshaw HF: Fritsch - McDonald - Harmes F: Weideman - B Brown - Neal-Bullen Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Pickett I/c: Spargo - Melksham - Rivers - Sparrow Med sub: Chandler
  23. the filth shenanigans at board level are fascinating i'm fully expecting tom browne's dad and ed's best mate, jeff, to be president by the start of 2022 it's just how messy it goes; i'm hoping for the holden / etihad / nike / mcdonalds / to hell with the olympic trust centre to burn itself to the ground
  24. i would say surely being ironic but then i remembered what a moron he is and nothing surprises me
  25. zac guthrie reminds me so much of oscar mcdonald
