  1. only been watching since the start of the second quarter but the midfield is getting absolutely smacked, and when we do get it i50 they get such easy exits out of d50 with zero defensive pressure el jefe's attack on the ball and leading is very good but his kicking lets him down
  2. i though jay wrote 'took over a premiership list and took it down, then back up and got close but no cigar, then down again'
  3. way to miss the point @doomsday dee he's potentially an elite small defender; they are more rare than mids
  4. the more i hear gawn speak the more curious i am as to what his future holds post-playing career just such a natural leader
  5. From memory it was Robert Harvey, Brenton Sanderson, Gary Hocking and Matt Boyd
  6. newcombe's eyes were on howe filthy, should be straight to the tribunal and 4 weeks plus won't be
  7. wouldn't mind mitch lewis from dingley
  8. Newcombe looked straight at Howe then cleaned him up Clear suspension imo Wonโ€™t be
  9. says to me that none of the coaching dept rates the likes of laurie, woey 2.0, pup brown etc time to move them on at year's end
  10. yeah, they only brought in potentially one of the most prolific midfielders in the competition, whose mere presence turned his c-grade brother into an a-grader! no naicos, no filth finals wins i suspect i know people don't like him, but there's no denying the impact he's had on their fortunes
  11. father-son rule is going to be killed, sadly, so of course any children he has are going to be superstars just another way for the afl to encourage the mfcss
  12. what i find interesting is that neither longmire or goodwin apparently really have a convivial relationship with roos anymore again, proper process please - but as roos said, if we are not 'sounding out' horse then we are derelict in our duties
  13. he's a free agent he will leave to head to the best offer and opportunity that presents itself
  14. has been horribly mishandled for several years he should leave
  15. malcolm rosas apparently 'a long way down the path' towards being a tiger in 2026
  16. reckon at 3/4 time of his first vfl he got given permission to go hard? cos he did that quarter alone was super, super encouraging for his future
  17. buckley's comments screamed 'come and get me' to me personally, i'd like a proper process please we ain't carlton or st. kilda even the filth went through a proper interview set-up to land fly
  18. i see nothing to indicate that he can excel thru the midfield as he has excelled as a small defender, at least prior to 2025
  19. Thatโ€™s a Langdon bow to draw
  20. McCreery is another small forward with midfield ambitions Would happily steal him away from the filth
  21. This was my assumption too Given the age and the Melbourne Grammar network, Iโ€™m assuming the leak came from a fellow old boy
  22. we'd still be based in three spots - mcg, waverley, casey waverley should simply not be an interim option
