  1. he's more of a pressure forward than a true midfielder, i would've thought? you'd think he'd be depth in that role / pushing into midfield for us
  2. i don't think there's any doubt that brodie is one of the best 'ruck-rovers' in the competition that's not what we need from him tho
  3. the vitriol aimed at him from peptides' people is extraordinary - i thought he was a good egg? i mean, i know he's part of the anointed afl bois' club, but they really seem to hate him
  4. plugger = premiership barometer the minute he hurt his foot against north last week on the docklands carpark i said we were up against it to be premiers in 2022 he's hitting his straps at the right time in 2023
  5. we're three wins away from being premiers it's pretty simple win this one and we're in a very, very good position for mine...i'm shattered for milkshake - he's been fantastic the back half of this season; such a shame OUT: melksham IN: plugger mac this game is going to be HUGE
  6. 80% of the afl's revenue comes from the broadcasters yr damn straight they control the fixturing
  7. 6: petracca 5: fritsch 4: neal-bullen 3: viney 2: brayshaw 1: oliver
  8. great finals warm up so sad about milkshake
  9. afl legend full stop i thought we were very experimental in that half - riv in the middle the entirety of q2, jvr in the ruck more than gawn, hunter started in the centre square at one point, may playing a very, very high line, we rolled two back defensively and let them have an extra two at the stoppage
  10. lib party preselection and no more commentary work for c7 will suit him
  11. god may does some dumb things for such an experienced, excellent footballer
  12. plugger mac clunking everything moving well out of 50 then doubling back
  13. i find it strange that at vfl level our forwards get free kicks for being manhandled, but at senior level they never do
  14. tomlinson has the turning circle of chris lamb amartey or logan mcdonald would turn him inside out at every opportunity
  15. cos meth coke don't want it and we do, so we will trade for it
  16. according to whom? all the media seems to think that hawthorn is his likeliest destination
  17. i still want to win, regardless of the pear result i also want to see us continue to play strong, committed, and determined football let's finish the season heading into the first final
  18. at a rough guess... dunstan - delisted jordon - will sign as a free agent elsewhere (peptides need mids) hibberd - retirement melksham - 1 year extension schache - honestly thought he was contracted for two years d smith - delisted k turner - delisted, re-rookied and i expect ben brown might be forced into retirement, while you would think grundy, harmes, and tomlinson may seek trades to pastures anew, even though the latter two had little interest last year when they were clearly on the market as well
  19. i think yr saying you'd love to win...
  20. imagine taking mcgrath over mcluggage classique dodo
  21. if we're playing the bears up there, i'll take the twilight slot doesn't look nearly as slippery and suited to their style of play than a night game often does
  22. they clearly require no further assistance if they can put in this sort of performance
  23. you know it makes sense
  24. north doing themselves out of pick 1 and the most attractive compo package in one fell swoop
