the compo for losing a player should be based on more the position of the teams , so for a bottom team losing a player to a top team should get more than a top team would recieve this has to be taken into account or as others have said the bottom teams will all be feeder teams to the top group with money !

I agree re mini draft as already 2 of the best players are out of this draft and with GWS going on about trading pick 1, I cant see the afl giving us pick 1 as it was when most other PP prior to the first and second rounds.

sitting down to read the paper and I left it open On the match report for my 8 year old daughter to walk past and see that we had won miss 8 then does her happy dance and runs around the lounge room shouting we won,we won we won followed by miss 5 and mr 2 .... should have recorded it ,but was smiling so much I started laughing its been a while since i woke up on sunday this happy about a game , and the joy the kids gave me thanks for hanging on for a win , well done MFC mark

not having ago at you Redleg This is what always happens , some pecker in the media will bring it up to get a reaction and we all get [censored] as it was never a merger and then it turns into a us vs them , the yes vs the no , the one that voted vs they that missed out i hate it every time it comes up and do my best to keep away from these threads I too get very angry when I hear this crap in the media and then we drive a wedge in between the members again , well done Dermie of whomever it was this time I was a member back then , I voted as did my hawthorn wife ( now Melbourne ) as did many of my friends , who were members of both teams we will never unite on this subject and there are members whom have never come back , learn to forgive and get over it , it was 17 years ago now move on lets just all be Melbourne
