On Sunday, my 5 and 8 year old girls came up with the team poster from the paper and asked me to help them put it up. Made me smile. No matter what, we still and will always support Melbourne ... all 5 of my kids got a Melbourne jumper on the day they born. Shame my wife after 15 years did ask if she could go back and follow Hawthorn. So I am now looking for a new one! Nah, she decided better to keep hubby happy and stay with us!

really I cant see us winning much more than half a dozen games but would think we are only ahead of WB , GC, PA and GWS , after round one things will change if we can win that then a few of these so called experts will re think us for the spoon . I would amazed if we finished last . but then again I am no expert so what do i know ! our aim should be to improve on last year .... and lest be honest with a third of our team new , they will take time to click , no team has won with more than 4 changes and round one we could have upto 8 new players playing for us !

having met the man and spoken to him many times , he dearly loves melbourne , he had time for anyone that said hello and even when discussing business he would always talk still sends business my way with his friends also have pinball machines a great player and all round good bloke his story is very heartbreaking , but he is big enough to say he did wrong ( with gambling )

with some luck we would have won that shame about the dropped mark and north kick off the ground for a goal and in the end we should have passed and had a 9 point shot rather than a 6 and loose by 2 Hogan played VERY well chris dawes did some good things too the players need to play together a little more so many new faces
