WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM FROST
markc replied to Gipsy Danger's topic in Melbourne Demons
maybe i am wrong I read it as 2 nd pick meaning 2 round pick pick ?? -
come on guys you are really fishing me off now
-
So story goes he was going fishing with his dad to discuss the offer and make a call. This story is just not on FB, I heard about it last week. Whether it will happen time will tell. His dad was very impressed with the call from Roos. I do not know Pat. This has only come from a third party.

Sun rises for Swan Nick Malceski with three-year Gold Coast deal Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/sun-rises-for-swan-nick-malceski-with-threeyear-gold-coast-deal-20141006-10r2og.html#ixzz3FMhNdqjU Sydney premiership star Nick Malceski has quit the Swans to join the Gold Coast Suns on a three-year deal. The All-Australian, who was one of the Swans' few good players in the grand final loss to Hawthorn, told coach John Longmire on Monday afternoon he had decided to accept an offer from the Suns believed to be worth about $1.5million over the three years

I wish I could take all the credit for it but alas I only arranged the copies I believe Ash ( member here also ) at the time arranged the clips and I just arranged the copes and handed them out all monies collected was sent to the club at the time i must say at times like this and with family matters myself i thank demonland for being here its such a great place to come and take your mind of other things and enjoy reading about the MFC mark

if and when Pat asks for a trade then the AFC will come to the party , if we can mange to convince him to come to melbourne then he has to ask and tell AFC he wants out once he says that they will then look at trading him this year as they will get much better draft picks from us then AFL compo pick next year if at all they get one give it time and wait and see, we might still be lucky
-
RIP meet him at Ken Morgan Toyota one day ( many years ago) , was happy to have a chat was my idol growing up , gave us so much joy
-
the public interest already has look how many people didn't give a rats about the grand final , it will only get worse for the AFL the younger generation are falling off and following soccer. and its not just melbourne people
-
the ball is now in Dangerfields court , he now has to inform AFC of his intentions , which if you believe what is said he already has and we are all waiting on the Frawley pick
-
nothing will get done till Frawley is gone and we get that pick this could be why now the afl has said the compensation picks will be done once the player confirms he is leaving and the deal is done rather than later as it was going to hold up many trades
-
what he says in public and what happens behind closed doors is 2 different things ! that 1% chance is still there
-
have to say, we have not watched one minute of the game , not even listened to it , been to the show and it was packed , never seen so many people there , even driving home , more traffic than I thought we would see. It seems more and more people are getting bored with the same teams fighting it out , last few years seems its either hawks, geelong , sydney , add in collingwood ( bar this year ) and the care factor is getting less My work normally closes today but its been open as my staff wanted to and been busy all day is it just me ? feeling this way ? I have spoken to many customers this week and they still have a BBQ or something to go to but most didn't care who won or even played ?
-
yes I know but I am saying ( pick 3 ) aka Frawley FA compo pick
-
its easier this was pick 2 and Frawley would you do that ?
-
was hoping it be 2 and 3 only with 9 coming back
-
yes he may well stay on with the crows but if he wants to come back to victoria and the crows don't trade him this year , he walks for free to whomever he wants too , sure they will get a first round pick but wont pick pick 2 or 3 you be better with pick 2 or 3 this year than say pick 9-14 next year , at least if traded this year they are one year into the new player and a much higher draft pick , Roos has spoken to him directly and as you say just about anything could happen but I guess he is more likely to stay than leave and I have seem pigs fly around my backyard too ...... it was a small plastic one that my kids play with ! ( i am happy to bring it to your house if the 1% chance ever happens )
-
its really easy , Crows take the trade now or loose him end of next year as a free agent and get much less if we can convince him to come to melbourne then they need to take the trade otherwise waste a year with will he stay or go , just like Frawley
-
wow I think i need a drink or maybe 20 after reading that time to run and hide you can understand why our kids are now following other clubs
-
cant get on fox tell hmmm kids watching tv ......
-
question how many posts can you get in the thread between now and then
-
do we have to do this again some of us have never healed from last time
-
i think you will find a few clubs have been in his ear for a while and not just us whatever its takes is the quote on offer.
-
the bigger problem is its not that we dont support them week in week out , yes we can sometimes think why and want to leave , I know I have its not that we leave early somedays its not that we travel and get crap times its not that we have drafted that bad the bigger problem and its huge , our kids are leaving the club and the club will have less supporters than GWS in years coming , and this is a major problem. and don't think because we have melbourne in our name we are guaranteed I fear for our club the afl helped create this mess and we need help , they can either help or watch us fall further down , till we either fold, merge or relocate. don't think the tv rights will keep us alive , the tv rights $$$ will go down with so many one-sided games the ratings will fall as will the $$$ , you can see the attendance's are lower and could continue this way today I was at the game , paid for a special lunch and had the players function after the game , sad to say i left just as the game ended and came home , its been nearly 2 hours and i am still shell shocked at what i saw and couldn't give the effort to go after the game and see the players , I saw Paul Roos face and i am sure he is has shocked and upset as us , i watched him in the coaches box and i felt sorry for him. today to me was as bad as I have seen in my 46 years as a supporter

no way , that BS
