Didn't quite get up to that Burnie/Ulverstone area Gorg but I did manage to sample a tasting paddle of the Double Cask, The Journeyman and the Sherry Cask at Alida in Launceston one night at dinner. The Sherry Cask took the cake for me but very impressed with the offerings.

Hey all, I've been in Tassie for some some much needed relaxation and sampling of some of the finest whiskeys and wines the state has to offer 😁. Didn't get a lot of football watching in but I've since caught up on the happenings, Niners stunk it up in the best way possible to finish but we'll save that rant for another post as I think we've got a good playoff series ahead with a cool mix of teams. Chargers 1 - 6 Ravens 7 - 12 Bills 7 - 12 Eagles 7 - 12 Bucs 1 - 6 Rams 1 - 6

TROY BROADBRIDGE DAY
What a night that was. Probably the most surreal night at the footy I can remember.

HAPPY NEW YEAR … AND THANK YOU
Thanks to Andy and everyone else who contributed. Tough year for the club and those involved here but we've been through much worse and will be back better than ever.

I'd love them to win it but I think it will catch up. The arms of Mahomes and Allen would have a field day.

Sorry Roost it but only a git with more money than brains would pay nearly $2m to solely drive a Ferrari fast and in a straight line.

Supporters and unrealistic expectations
I agree. There were some ridiculous takes on here later in the year when we had shocking crowds that people weren't turning up because of the playing style. When people sign up for a membership they usually want one thing, to win. I'd be surprised if many write in a survey that the one thing they want is to play one very specific kind of football. I understand people wanting change to the style and I believe we need it to evolve if we want to be a threat again but if you're really not turning up because you want to be entertained then go watch an action film, play Xbox, buy some cool Xmas tree decorations etc. We love beautiful football but there's other ways to drive a Ferarri other than fast.

Ang is a philosophy based coach and won't apologise for it. It can take a while to implement and it was great that they did well last season so he could continue with it but in reality it probably needs two full seasons and some more signings. He was pretty devastated in his presser after the Liverpool game this morning, I really hope they can win some games soon because I really would like to see him get some long term success there.

"We aren't great at any phase of the game"
I agree. Chandler gets to the fall of the ball maybe 3 or 4 times out of 10. He doesn't quite do enough with full or half chances like the best small crumbing forwards in the league do. But he's by no means terrible at it. He'd be in the mix for the pressure HFF role (I refuse to call it the Nibbler role)

Go Fundme for Daniel Turners parents.
Horrible news. More than happy to pitch in. If there's anything else that we might be able to help with in any way let us know.

From the vault
Cheers. This has been a never ending project for me to find the best way to transfer boxes and boxes of VHS tapes. I've looked at PVRs, Capture cards etc. I had a good Panasonic DVD recorder years ago which performed very well with an analogue TV but the moment the TV changed to digital the quality dropped off heaps when recording off tv. Maybe the 4:3 to 16:9 issue factor? There has to be a good way.

Yeah I'd watch these two in a Superbowl 🙂 I worry about these injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Getting to the QB is a difference maker in playoffs. Losing 2 CBs is a body blow as well.
