  1. I really like City Oval at Box Hill. Good ground
  2. They're coming thick and fast...
  3. 33 points conceded from turnover, I know it's wet but that makes it hard to win.
  4. Very Geelong game feeling that first 5 mins of the last quarter. In a game with 17 goals scored that is almost fatal. So important to come out hard and win clearances when they matter. Hopefully Carlton face a tricky trip to Carrara next week. I hope it's nice and warm with plenty of humidity and they run themselves into the ground.
  5. As it stands right now if Port and us both win out then we finish 3rd and head over there. Very frustrating. Deathride thread in full flight next week, can they do us a solid?
  6. Someone asked yesterday how does it go to review if they aren't sure? Is it the goal umpire saying "My call is touched but I don't know for sure let's check" or is it the field umpire saying "Not sure I totally believe you let's go to the replay"? Touches are very subjective and if there is no deviation then benefit of the doubt should be a goal in my view until proven otherwise.
  7. Another shout out to the Demon Army, cheered their tails off in a 68,000 crowd with mostly Blues fans. Their presence at the city end didn't go unnoticed.
  8. I can be too and love being the 'realist'. Sometimes you wonder where it gets you being like that all the time though. We've got as good a chance as any and if we get a few things right we'll be in the mix. Most other teams have their slight issues as well.
  9. Probably a good game for him to come back for. Could use some decent field kicking.
  10. I believe this to be correct. Harmes is a confidence player who has done so well to get as much out of himself as he has. Looks to be in a different headspace now and it's the hardest thing to get back.
  11. Thanks Jaded. Of course I'll stick around I'd just had enough last night and some of the non footy related smut was too much for me. I was also told yesterday that my relationship with footy was getting unhealthy and having an effect on people close. Bit embarrassing to go into more detail here. I will say that there's also people one here that get unfairly brushed with the negative tag when really a lot of them are very well rounded footy fans.
  12. Oh you can make a decent day of it for sure! Problem is we raced through them with about 30 mins at each tops! Plenty of good wines on the boat though 😉
  13. It's great that a lot of people haven't given up but sometimes this place is just a big echo chamber with people calling out this place for the very behaviour they are guilty of 90% of the time. I've been one of these in the past too. I'm actually over it and don't need to be on here anymore.
  14. Agree. But some said the same thing about Carlton last week and they are now running for the hills..
  15. My problem is I've been trying too hard to recreate the wheel with these kinds of sayings and they really aren't taking. Really need to keep it simple.
  16. Well you know what they say: Opinions are like onions, everyone has one and many layers of...... You get the picture, sort of.
  17. Got himmmmmmmm!
  18. Haha that's hilarious, can't believe I missed that!
  19. This is exactly what I was thinking. I'm intruiged by this though, claims to be just as rounded. Well that and Max is on the ad.
  20. Anyone had Pepperjack Mid-Strength Shiraz?
  21. What's the equal?
  22. Next time I go I'll be spending more time in the valley for sure. The boat cruise we did from Barracks was amazing but we really raced through the 2 Wineries and 1 Brewery that day.
  23. Tomlinson up forward.. At this point anything is worth a shot but it is sort of like asking the Post Office to hold your mail and hoping the bank will pay your bills for you when you don't get them.
  24. Maybe just a routine call
  25. Yeah and to take it even further everything looks good when you remember it and everything looks bad when you remember it.
