CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
We are back to poor ball movement and skills. We all know as soon as we start to see players use the blind flick hand ball we are in trouble. Usually starts with Oliver and Petracca then spreads to the rest of the team. Unless we can sort out or clearances and skills we will struggle, it won't matter who plays forward. I agree though we need Brown in this week just for a different forward dynamic, but we need players that can hit him on a lead.

This spot on, you win the clearances you get to chance to set up your defence high, press to keep the ball in your forward half. You lose the clearance the opposition gets to do this so your forwards need to push up to be the option out of the backline. I don't know why a team with a dominate ruckman nearly always sets up for a defensive tap, once you hit the ball backwards like Max does most of the time, if you dont get clean ball it opens up for the opposition, also no idea why in defensive 50m arc you hit goal side.

Should have kicked more, has missed a few that he should have kicked. I also think he is high up the ground as our ball movement has been very stagnate over the past month, we don't seem to have that run and dare that we had V Bne and dogs.

You can't have BB, Weid, Tmac, Jackson, Gawn in the same side. TMac is our best forward at the moment, Fritsch is kicking goals but not much else, Jackson has chipped in with some goals but looks better in the ruck. Our No 1 issue is the quality of ball going into our forward line as a forward I bet you look up and Salem with the ball you lead with confidence, not to many other players that you have a great deal of confidence that they will hit you. Bring in our Tall forward BB and our best ball users Melksham and Bowey(he is ready). Out take your pick Viney/Sparrow/Hunt/Harmes/Brayshaw, love to see a brave call from the coaching panel drop Viney/Harmes/Brayshaw

AFLW Off-season List changes
You have a window next year to win a flag before the AFL stuffs the competition by introducing more teams.

Sideways kicks
Yep 35m out on a 45degree angle on the right side of the ground, drop punt for sure, especially Tom he has a great set shot, terrible kick in General play but great set shot.

Umpire Margetts is a bit of a bad-luck charm for Dees
I think most supporters see him walk out on the ground and cringed a bit. He has done well to remain at this level for the time he has.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Your comment highlights your complete lack of understanding of the game. We have a midfield that can't kick, struggle to win a clearance and make poor decisions. Our mids are all the same player type Oliver, Viney, Brayshaw, Jordan, Sparrow, Harmes there is no smarts in there just grunt. Our forwards didn't get a chance today as our mids were completely smashed.

Club culture, we are a brittle club that get so far ahead of ourselves. We have achieved nothing, stop accepting mediocrity.

When you play selfish football you lose. We have lost that team first do what ever it takes attitude. It wasn't a cracking game it was garbage. We need a high quality mid

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs GWS
Yep why do we always tap the ball behind, dominate ruckman and we hit it behind, if we don't win it gives them an easy clearance

Local media pundits not taking MFC as a serious threat.
Our back 6 is the best in the competition, Petty is the only one that is a bit 50/50 and it was good to see Joel Smith back playing at Casey not that he is any better than Petty but a least we have him as an option. Our mids can still get caught out over using the ball and the clearance work needs to be cleaned up. Forward line you would think B Brown will come in this week and get 3-4 weeks to show his worth, if not Weiderman will get another crack in a month, we need one of these 2 to really step up for us to be a chance. If I look at the Dogs, midfield they are strong forwards can go missing, Brisbane mids and Forward line looks real strong, I don't rate Port at the moment good on their terms, Geelong depends which dads army turns up back line can be scored against, strong tall forwards, West Coast look off the pace slow, they need to speed up their ball movement or teams will just sit back and let them have 50 marks in their defensive half. Richmond you wouldn't want to play them in September if they are fit

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 11 vs Essendon
Turner has done well for a bloke straight out of local footy
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Fritsch just wants the easy ball over the back or on a lead, doesn't like winning it himself. We are running past the ball looking for easy touch

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Tend to agree with Viney in Weed out, weather forecast doesn't look that flash bring in a small for a tall

Next Generation Academy 2021
If we get the bid in the 20's for him you get the discount so as it stands know pick 34 might be enough points to cover him

Next Generation Academy 2021
Sums up the NGA's. The big difference from the Northern states had access to every kid in their zone, the other states only had access to kids with 1 parent born overseas and indigenous players. I think the Northern states still get priority access to all kids in their academy this year.
