  1. Agree. Perhaps it smells of personal agenda(s). I'm sure most people/supporters would understand and respect that. It seems muck-raking has taken it's toll. I don't see any favours for the club in this instance, from supposedly wanting to set "the record straight" with regard to the alleged past.
  2. I believe the time is still well out of whack. Also - just a query - I noticed today in one of the threads, a new member who signed today. Under his name it had Member No.5004. Yet on the Demonland Forums page it has 2038 registered members? Is it because there has been so many deleted members, ie. Spam members?
  3. There was an argument?.. ...I thought it was a 'candid discussion' Hazy. By the way, I believe Enforcer 25 asked you a question or 3?

    Tennis Anyone?

Wow. Got to be good for his confidence heading into the French. However, the French is his bogey slam, especially against Nadal.
  5. Thanks Bob. Interesting. I can see Schoenmakers as a direct opponent of Jacks down the track, as the Hawks are grooming him for a defensive post in the Hawks side.
  6. There's 3 good questions, that I would like to know too. Incidently, I say 'no' to all three. The floor is now yours..
  7. So you've gone through all of that you described, but you won't support your team Sunday evening against last year's premiers, after two recent solid good showings by the Dees? Mind boggling If you're against Twilight, I suggest you write to the AFL and vent your spleen. Then you can turn up on Sunday. I understand your frustration, as do we all, with regard to fixturing. But we all know that once our teams performances improve, so will our attendances and more people will watch. This should translate to favourable fixturing and tv exposure. Ie Friday night games, Saturday fixtures.
  8. For me, that was the most disappointing thing on Saturday. Sitting there 30 minutes before the game, I really felt devastated as I looked around the ground. Fifteen minutes before the game started whilst it had improved a little, I knew the turn up was quite poor. Saturday at the 'G' too. Doesn't go well for fixturing Saturday games for the Dees. Why we should have at least had 35,000 approx:- * We were playing a top 4 side in the Bulldogs. Note* Should have been more Bulldogs fans too. * We'd played some exciting footy the previous week. * Saturday 2pm at the G. * Mark of respect to Dr Cordner prior to commencement of game. WE HAVE ONE MORE GAME AT THE G ON A SATURDAY (2pm) THIS SEASON:- Round 14: Melbourne v West Coast Eagles. FCS TURN UP!!!
  9. BT said that? That's quite funny by his standards. Bruce hit any 2's or 5's via hospital handpasses?
  10. Correct. Just like Coglin was "seeking a candid discussion", we just don't know, do we?
  11. In: Green Out: Dunn
  12. I think the statistic that you are relating to Freak, is pretty efficient myself.
  13. Stynes: "he didn't talk to me yesterday, he abused me". Doesn't really sound like a sit down "candid discussion to me". Sounds like in no uncertain terms that he had the podium! "He didn't say a word to me, not a single word", Coglin said. "He heard me out. I said there are the facts and you ought to be ashamed of yourself....I turned around and walked away..."
  14. I agree and feel much the same. I think the draft system needs to be reviewed. After this year. :D
  15. Yeah, probably couldn't get a word in after being taken a-back by the abuse. Probably also thought that at that particular time, was not the place nor the time to discuss either.
  16. One way to stir up a thread I suppose. He's shown alot IMO, and that IS being realistic, sure you were at the same game I was? You've obviously got no idea if you rate Bennell and not Grimes. Contradicted yourself big time. And you call other posters 'muppets!'
  17. "I was incandescent with rage" said Coglin when he rang the Herald Sun to record his disapproval of Stynes' speech. Why ring the Herald Sun after approaching Stynes at 3/4 time already. What a disgrace. Personnal agendas are no good for the Melbournefc. Better we look to the future, and take note that Stynes implied that we would "be naive to think we didn't have any work to do in these areas." Instead of abusing him, a candid discussion should have taken place so Coglin could have seeked clarification. Too late now.
  18. Cale Morton anyone?

    2012

Truth of the matter is, we don't HAVE a team at the moment that can develop to 'stellar heights' in a few years. Let alone 'premiership heights'. We lack in important areas, these areas need to be addressed to reach those heights. The chances of a priority pick may seem 'very' slim, but they are realistic IMO. After Round 4 after being 1 and 3, I thought by after Essendon in Round 12, we would be 1 and 11 at worst; 2 and 10 at best. We're currently 1-7. Hawthorn, St.Kilda, Collingwood, Essendon to follow. Whilst the last 2 games have been encouraging against West Coast and a flat Bulldogs outfit (minus R.Murphy), I believe the next 4 weeks will really test the teams mental application. With our young players, it's only natural that they will start to feel the pinch as the season progresses.
  20. I must say 28,000 odd was disappointing on Saturday at the G. I thought supporters of both clubs were not well represented. The weather was ok too. I was expecting at least 35,000.

    Butcher/Scully

Watched Channel 9's program of the U18's today with Hutchy hosting. Pagan thought from what he has seen, Butcher would be the ONE for him. I suppose he was looking from a KP point of view.
  22. Robbo was fortunate.
