For the obvious reason, of all of the drafts that have taken place in the AFL over the last 20 or so years, this next one, (PSD and Rookie), holds the least interest for me. In fact no interest at all.

I am surprised that they can take someone who is in the draft and just put him on their list. Also why wait until now when he could have been taken in the main draft by another club.

That is interesting. I wonder why so many clubs spoke so highly of the character and integrity of Luke Ball and that despite his injuries he would be a benefit to their list as a leader of men. I note also that many potential draftees are eliminated by club recruiters due to poor character and integrity. It seems AFL clubs view character and integrity differently to supporters.

I think you are wrong here. While their picks won't be used as compensation they can trade any pick they want to in the same manner as the other clubs. If that was not the case they wouldn't be able to trade for contracted players like the other clubs.

It would be nice to have both Grimes brothers at the club and that will only happen if GC17 takes Newton or Meesen.
