Non-MFC: Finals Week 03
8 arcs in a row to Carlton. Last one called a goal and arc said it touched the hair of Acres. Seriously? This arc is changing results of games and we certainly know it.

They are also cribbing the mark every time without penalty. It’s a clear tactic. No surprise 5 frees Pies to 1 GWS.

Non-MFC: Finals Week 03
I can't believe the Blues dropped Kemp. I would get into his ear about coming to us. 192 cm defender/forward. He would look better in red and blue.

Trade Rumours 2023
They probably did, but we were garbage too. However, I don't remember any additional pick, like the 11 that is being rumoured as an extra sweetener and still another sweetener, like Sanders being added late to North's NGA. Frawley had played 139 games in 8 years when he left us. Average 17.5 games a year. MvKay has played 71 in 7 years. Average 10.1 games per year. We lost a lot more for pick 3, than they will lose for pick 3 and 11.

Trade Rumours 2023
He went for $2.2m over 4 years at $550k per year in 2014, which is worth $750k per year in today’s dollar purchase equivalent. Pretty similar to McKay’s rumoured contract of $800k from Hawks, which he knocked back for less from Bombers, except that Frawley was a far superior footballer.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
What we have said all along. Collingwood has no intention of trying to wriggle out of any contract obligations to Brodie Grundy despite him moving onto a third club in the coming trade period. Despite trade speculation the Pies might ask the AFL if they still had a responsibility to pay Grundy $250,000 a season for four more years, Collingwood is aware of its commitment. They signed a heads of agreement with Grundy rather than the Demons to pay a portion of his contract, with Melbourne paying the extra $650,000 plus. It means while Melbourne will remove his salary on a deal through to 2027 the Pies will hold up their end of the bargain.

Stuff drafting a kid, poach a key forward.
Had a good game against Casey, in the one game I saw him this year. 24 at start of next season and 200 cms. He might even be delisted by the Lions.

Any word on Angus?
He will get a big round of applause, in his absence, for any votes received.

TMac & Brown
That's right, but you said they get everything, and that isn't correct, as it is open to negotiation. Some players will retire with a certain % of their contract, rather than having to train and then play in a lower level. They then can earn more, by playing in another competition if they wish to.

That's not correct. Players can retire and agree on a lesser sum, for not having to do all the training/playing and that agreed amount can then be brought forward to free up space for the following season. They don't have to be paid in full.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Would nearly take him just to keep JVR happy. He would be there at our 2nd round pick ( 31) you would think.
