Actually 3 lawyers at our table.

Unfortunately I watched some of it. We put in a shocker. I actually hope NZ smash them.

Went out for dinner with the wife and another couple last night and joined by WJ who was solo with his wife away. I actually thought it was basil Fawlty's restaurant. The service didn't exist. No fish or veal as they ran out at 7.00pm. My wife's meal came 1 hour after the rest of us got ours and was inedible. WJ and mine came about 20 minutes after the other couple got theirs'. I actually started to look around for a camera. As we walked out another table had half the people eating and the other half waiting for their meal. Lastly we spoke to another table who had been waiting over an hour for something to eat. I should have gone into the kitchen to say hello to Basil and Manuel.

You will hate them more now.

I’ve heard that.

Have hopes for this kid. More games this year, another pre season and some concentrated gym work could see him become a regular.

How much is that a bottle? Or is it sold by the bucket?
-
Well you are likely to be close, as he doesn't look like playing more than 1-2 more years. He will certainly play on next year.

You don't like the $3.00 bottles of chardonay and sav blanc at Dan Murphy's? Snob!

Everybody seems pretty upbeat on DL this week. Gill's Coaches' dinner must have gone off well then.

Now they can write the same article on the Pies and suggest clearing DeGoey and Stevenson to the Suns.

Are you talking about when Brayshaw tried to kick it off the ground after the ball stopped. Is their side on, or front on vision of that?

Must be the guy who invented the ladies slim maker garment. Quote Edit

But you want to get rid of the only viable fill in for Max if he goes down. I don't care if they both play in the same team or not, I care about not having any decent ruck replacement for Max. Double wow if you can't work that out. BTW, the guy who rucked to give Preuss a break on sunday is out for the year. Makes his position on the list even more important. -

OMG. We have no one else and he was probably our second best player on sunday and you say he must go. Wow.- 54 replies

Was I wrong?

I should be so lucky. Sitting with the Blue morons who call ball even before a tackle. Hilarious. One bloke said the umpires have cost them. Actually very funny. I said to one bloke we have had 100 more possessions and kicked badly for goal, did he agree. He wasn’t sure.

You know Jaded I have watched us for over 60 years and even when we were no good we still played footy. I am at the ground watching garbage. It is EMBARRASSING and there is no point sugarcoating it with stupid blind loyalty to the team. This is putrid. I can see the Blues running over us and winning, but then again what does it matter?
-
I don’t think it is too much to expect your team to play afl standard footy. We are not at under 9’s level ATM.

Footy skills, what is that. None at the G today.

Casey Demons v Northern Blues - Round 14
Redleg replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jordon is continuing to improve while Bedford is developing. Neita was well regarded by some senior players over pre season, I thought I heard somewhere and Sparrow will be better with another pre season. Lockhart, Hore, Petty and Baker are getting experience at senior level so there is new blood coming through. Dunkley today. A good injury run, easier draw and a few new players over summer will see us back playing decent footy and challenging for finals. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Redleg replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Often harder to get possessions in the VFL with less talented players giving you easy ones. -

Think Charlie is suffering the 2nd year Blues, which is quite common in the AFL. Also playing in a down on confidence, undermanned side, this year.
