The interesting part of that will be, if he stays in footy, or has got an opportunity in another field.I am guessing the latter.

And Richo has a reputation of getting on with players and being good at player development.

I wonder how players and their managers see the changes and whether it puts them off or encourages them to stay/join us.

Yet where he could have used his conflict of interest, re Ollie Wines, his son's mate, we didn't and totally wasted pick 4. A disaster that still costs us.

Well if we maintain our current ladder position, we are probably a big chance to get him.
  6. Maybe not only the club needs to improve its culture, some supporters could do with culture improvement as well.
  7. If true, wonder if it could fit in with a DL's post of Tomlinson to us, compo pick end of first round to GWS and then that compo pick plus picks 12 and 14 from GWS for our pick 3. King appears to be out of the equation from GC for next year. If we lose pick 2, then 3 might be used in a deal.

When I was team manager of the Dees, I was warned not to loiter in the race at Vic Park, as I would be covered with cups of urine, if not just copping a spit or two. Lovely people at that ground.

Most likely true. I recall the Bombers toilet on the outer was often flooded and you went against the back wall. That was real footy back then, both on and off the field.

Thanks Ethan. Given that definition, we laid very few tackles this year. We are however, very good at the one armed, brushed off, attempted tackle.

I am a real fan of Jordon. He could be a very good one.

Thanks Ethan I didn't know that. Is there a stat for effective tackles? What is the basis of a stat for a tackle, do you just have to touch them or bring them down?

Most of ANB's tackles are when he is the third player in, after one of his team mates has the opponent on the grass. His actual tackles, one on one, are usually ineffective.

Be my guest, give him a call.

    Doubt he would be interested.

Well if you are calling me a liar, then pigs do fly.
  17. May, Lever! To a lesser extent, Melsham, Hibberd.
  18. What, you think running 3rd in a Brownlow is a "supposed achievement"?
  19. We have seen 4 players go and clearly we will have more changes. IMO we have identified a few players who are tradeable and we are keeping them until deals can be done. Then again I could be wrong, I remember it happening once.

Never had a scotch in my life.
  21. That would be a sensational deal, but maybe a large AFL contribution, together with help in getting it through the approval stage would be a pretty good deal too.

I am so disillusioned with footy and our season, I have already stopped taping the 2 sunday morning footy shows. Still taping the rest during the week, in the hope there is a good trade rumour for us.
  23. Don't forget Melksham, who is another marking goal kicker, though not a key forward, but similar to Fritter.
  24. Interesting, because if that happened, it would mean the club we are probably losing pick 2 to, will have also benefited from the KK deal, again involving us, in which we basically got nothing in the deal.
