On a dirty night, one thing that really impresses me is winning centre clearances 16-12, and inside 50s without 3 of our best midfielders.

Agree, I can't remember more smothers in 1 game and some if them were at crucial moments where we had open space in front if us! We gutsed it out. If not for our terrible delivery into our haphazard forwardline the game would have been considerably closer . Well done JKH, you've earnt at least another game or 2!

Tend to agree on all points. They only just beat The Blues 1 week prior to us, and had a bit of luck in that win. We got smashed in the middle against Carlton and still got the job done, I don`t think we could play that badly again from centre clearances and Max should have some match fitness now. I haven't been at all confident through the week but I think we are a big chance, our win over them in Adelaide will give the boys massive belief.

I wonder if The Weid has come up as a possible trade with a pick in exchange for Lever? The emergence of TMac as a forward, along with Hoges and Watts, means he is almost surplus to requirements, and yes I know we signed him up earlier this year, but we know a contract is just a but if paperwork these days. I'd hate Frost to be on the table, his upside is enormous in my opinion. Lever would be a great get!

I watched it from the forward pocket. All credit for this goes to Lewis, I'd say that is exactly how it unfolded. ANB would've taken the shot otherwise. Must say I was amazed no Blues player went to Lewis, he was 25m clear!

Im rapt with this win. I didn't give us much chance with all our injuries and to think all the Blues players I thought would hurt us ( kreuz, Murphy, Docherty , Gibbs) had solid games, and we had a number of underdone and many with little impact, this was a gutsy win. I should add we got lucky with 2 of their players down before half time, but it's nice to be in the other end of that stick for a change, we were due some luck. I doubt we win if Cripps didn't get injured!

Wide open, I was city end but it looked like they could have almost ran into an open goal were it not for Nevs heroics

We will need some height in the forwardline as Carlton have been flooding big time, making it hard for the smalls..... let's hope Jesse gets up, otherwise TMac will have to play forward. Weed may get a gig too if Jesse is not ready

No Jones, Viney and Tyson in the middle. Even if we get Hoges n Garlett back I`m just not sure it will be getting down there enough. Anyone looking at ladder position and thinking this should be an easy win need to think again. Blues are going OK. I think you`ll see the betting move similar to the way it did last week where we were faves early in the week only for it to reverse completely by game day.

Coming home from Perth is difficult at the best of times, even on a 7 day break. When you consider it`s our 4th game in 18 days, along with 5 crucial players out injured, this would easily be our best win for the year if we get up, as good as the last 3 have been! If I was a betting man I`d be loading up on a Swans 1- 39 point victory. I would however not at all be surprised if we get up such is our current form and attack on the footy. Can`t wait to be there!
