Considering Garry Lyon confirmed tonight that we made a offer to Clarkson a few weeks ago, then i can only assume that there is NO chance of any deal between MM and the Dees.

The AFL are not really bankrolling GWS.... The only reason the TV rights deal was so high is because of the the 2 extra teams and the extra game per week. If GWS and GCS did not exist then the TV rights deal would have been less.

Garry Lyon said on Monday night during Footy Classified that Melbourne should trade with GWS at this years draft for one of the u17 picks so we can get Jay Viney at the club at ths end of this year. Not sure how it works...but we will need to entice GWS with a player trade and maybe Bate and another player will do it.
