To call a trade bad after only one game in the seniors is more than a little bit crazy. Geezus, at least allow the bloke to get back on the park and find his feet in the team. If he plays poorly for a long time, then you might have a point, but at least wait until he proves one way or the other. Lever was rubbish when he first came into our team, and despite what some others thought, i wasn't particularly excited by what he bought to the side before his injury. He may well come back and be playing like he was for The Cows before this season is up. Our terrible start to the year has people angry and frustrated. We need to find some wins soon before this whole place goes feral.

Until it is mathematically impossible, i will continue to have faith that we will make the finals. I can see us being slaughtered by the Swannies though, and at 0-4 practically everyone will have given up on us. The week after is when we will start to turn it around imo Im just gonna maintain the faith like i did last year when most in the footy world (including plenty on here) had written off our finals chances. If im wrong, im wrong. At least i wont have wasted my time and energy getting angry like i used to. Getting too old for that [censored]. While there is life there is hope. The media has made certain that only one of the teams who take the field tonight will be thought of as cheats. It doesn't take a Mensa intellect to figure out what club will be wearing that label. *Hint, it wont be the peptides. I am almost certain we will lose tonight. Our selected team looks quite average on paper and we are still a week or 2 away from being AFL fit. Despite what some might say, our pre-season was not just interrupted/delayed by injuries and off season operations, but i think some of our guys got a bit big-headed by making the Prelim last year and have come crashing back to Earth. I still think we will win enough games to make the finals, but dont think it will start tonight.

At least we wont need to blame the umpires again.

We would need a couple of Flags in a row, and offer a $10 option for dual MCC/MFC membership to make 70k within 2 years. Its probably unrealistic to expect a 50% increase in membership that quickly. Thats one of his jobs though. Talk it up and you never know. This goal would need the team to perform better than last year more than anything. A major announcement on a home base and social club would also help. Doesnt hurt to dream.

I would have Punt Road as a training base without hesitation. Anything else will be further away from our actual home, and there is no guarantee we could get a bigger plot of land (that we arent forced to share) anyway. If Richmond ever wants to sell, i would jump at it.
