WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Wont have the required draft currency till next year anyway, so unless we are happy to give them one of our good players, i cant see it happening this year. No harm in openly targeting players from a long way out though. It worked for us with Lever. I love the way we are run these days.

He will play for whoever he chooses, as all offers will be good monetarily, and it all boils down to what other factors are important to him. If money is everything, you will see him at either North or Stkilda. If its finals action, welcome to the MFC A.Gaff. That is all assuming he wants out of W.A. ofc. The Eagles will only match his offer if it doesn't qualify for a round 1 compo pick, which it certainly should, based on his current value. If he hasnt signed before the finals he is gone. MFC will be up to their eyeballs in this. I very much hope we land him as he would slot in perfectly.

Get. Gaff. (Reckon we are a genuine chance)

Angus Brayshaw
Funnily enough Beelz, if Angus stays fit and plays to his potential, i actually HOPE im wrong. That would mean Trac has turned into a fuggin beast, because if Brayshaw develops the way i think he will, thats what it will take for Trac to be the more influential player. Win/Win

Angus Brayshaw
If Angus can stay injury free from here i will make this prediction....... He will be more important to us over his career than Petracca. I dont say that because i think Trac is a dud (although he has been rated higher than his output deserves SO FAR in his career). I say it because Angus possesses something that not many AFL players have..... 2 sides. Now i know that a few followers of our team have criticised his disposal over the last year or so, and with some merit, but his early games displayed an ability to deliver off both feet that was so good, many were openly asking what his natural foot was. Trac stands up in a tackle as good as anyone i remember, but Angus has the ability to deliver from his right or left foot which is a crucial skill for an extractor. Trac might provide the cameos, but my money is on Brayshaw to impact the game more effectively, more often. Once he has full confidence in his own form/fitness this kid will be great. *the only caveat is that he stays fit.

I have a strong hunch that we are into him, and have been for a while. He will look good in our jumper.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Or Bugg. Or Pedersen. We all have our whipping boys.

Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
I choose to believe anything that paints my club in a negative light. I will also blame this obviously true revelation when we lose tonight. I KNEW we were in trouble off field and this confirms my view 100% We are a rabble. Tigers by 100 points.

Angus Brayshaw
Not really his choice in the end though. If the club decides they are better off exploring a trade.......,.. well look at what happened to Jack Watts. He said practically the same thing but still ended up somewhere else. I personally dont want to see him traded. Kid has some great attributes and could be an excellent player with a solid run of games, and confidence in himself. Hard at the ball and opposition player too, which is something that cant really be taught. Hang onto Angus and we will be rewarded. (IMO)

Anyone for cricket?
What the actual [censored] has happened to our cricket team? How did they come to a collective decision that cheating was ok? Maybe they felt so [censored] off with South Africa in general (and there are no more arrogant supporters in the world) that somehow it justified in their tiny little brains that beating them at all costs was ok. Smith must be sacked. Anyone who agreed to cheat must also serve time, even if we cant field a team for the last game. Send 'em home in disgrace.

Anyone for cricket?
Anyone surprised Rabada got off? The instant i saw that a Kiwi bloke was hearing the appeal i would have bet my life savings that he would be able to play. I fully expect Australia to be utterly humiliated on the field in the next test. Rabada to have another 10-for match. Both Marshes to fail twice. Smith to fall to Rabada both times. Saffas by an innings.

His family ( old man in particular ) hate our club for overlooking him last time we had the chance. We said we were gonna pick him but obviously didnt. MFC are not likely to be much of a chance even if he does want to leave. Dont have anything more than that but i do keep asking the question of my source- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Hard as a cats head and hates losing........... AND he has skills. Exactly what we have needed more of for years. Might just be our biggest surprise packet in "18- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
This post made me quit glue sniffing...................................- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I started barracking for this post.......- Anyone for cricket?
Yep it was good, but lets see what happens for the rest of the series. Great players back it up. Unfortunately Marsh isnt a great player. Hope he makes me eat humble pie.- Anyone for cricket?
How the F does Shaun Marsh get ANOTHER chance to embarrass himself. I am absolutely gobsmacked that this turnip gets a cap yet again. Bloke is not, and will never be a number 6. Totally defies logic.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
The Bombers did better out of that deal than most realise. The initial report wasnt the whole story. Essendon receives Devon Smith, a second-round draft selection (no.24 overall at the time of trade) and a future second-round selection From Greater Western Sydney GWS Greater Western Sydney receives a first-round draft selection (no.11 overall at the time of trade) and a future third-round selection- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Well knock me down with a feather...... do you mean to say we are already negotiating????- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
What part of "negotiating" dont you guys get? Final numbers to be sorted, but its STILL part of negotiations.
