Last years result gave us a grace period because the media has such a short memory. That one (relatively)good year gave us the breathing space not given to teams who were poor last year and didnt improve. We made a Prelim and went backwards with mitigating circumstances. Roos and Jackson were both appointed for a limited time, after the AFL intervened. We were lucky to have them both for the time we did. The foundations were laid by them, and its now up the the replacements to follow through. None of what is happening this year is their fault. Nothing.
