North wearing their indigenous round jumpers again?

It would be a spectacle at the G tonight in the rain and I hear it may be damp tomorrow on the Gold Coast.

Testing the waters on moving the Suns to Tassie, love it. Whats the issue with the game DC? It gets cold in Geelong.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 11
Cards13 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
While some think we a re chance for the 8 we are clearly in another transitional year, as you note the games of the defence clear illustrates this. Blooding more "kids" this year for us to be ready to fly next year in Goody's first year. Well that is the hope. Roos is sacrificing this year for the betterment of the team long term. (can't wait for the responses to that last line.) -
A week later the club just might be a little p'd off he hasn't signed on.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 11
Cards13 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I threw up typing it. My optimism also relates to the fact I avoided almost the entire game against Port. I let my guard down and listened to parts of the first qtr but turned it off. See no evil and all. -

Dees by 5 goals. -
As I said top team coming to town I would have thought a sell out with only a 46k capacity.
-
Also I'm amazed Swans playing the top side yet so many empty seats.
-
They start so well at the sG, the Swannies. Going to be interesting to see if Norf have any brash ones and come back from here, they look totally overawed at this point. Massive game and they chitting the bed.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10

Our midfield were no help which allowed not just Riewoldt to get out the back. As with every week, win the contest, find targets up fwd, without turning it over, and we are a show. -
Nice!

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10

Felt like we were a tall short, feels the same this week. When Watts went into the ruck last week the fwd line was Hoges and "smalls", looked out of shape. Dawes or PEDs would be handy. -
JG you little ripper!!! What a star, love him in the red and blue, such a gun.
-
What a credit to himself that he has worked his way back from major injury, off the rookie list to being regarded by most as our most reliable and skilled defender. This is what great clubs and champion players are made of. Well done Nev!!!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH
Cards13 replied to e25's topic in Melbourne Demons
He is learning to "stay in the game longer" and will be a real asset if he can keep this up for longer periods of time as he always seems to influence when he has the ball. -
The SEN boys have Watts on and said to Jack you need to go to the AFL and ask permission to wear a high vis vest so your team mates can see you. He laughed it off.

Taking my 8 month old he has seen 1 consecutive win (GWS), I'm extremely confident we'll win and win big. I fully expect Merritt to elbow someone in the back of the head and Robinson to be bashed from pillar to post from siren to siren by Viney, Vince, Kennedy etc.

Jarryd Roughead's return to health, and football - update

Good luck Roughy, such a chit disease. -
I wouldn't underestimate the Blues, Bolton can coach. He has a rubbish list playing hard contested, footy, they sit just behind us on the ladder and are one of the Vic big clubs.
