    I think it's less to do with "woke" (whatever that really means) and more about attracting attention and publicity - and it seems like they've already succeeded with that objective.

    The Brownlow Medal, for all its faults, still retains much of its cachet. I could name many, many Brownlow winners but very few winners of media and other awards over the years.

    According to some, it's the AFL, the umpires, the media, other clubs and footy fans in general. It all comes under the umbrella of MFCSS, for which there is apparently no cure.

    I'd have him just to hear the MFC fans yell "Praise the Lord" whenever he does something good.

    Jamaine's now been delisted by two clubs. There's probably a good reason for that. Pass.

    The Brownlow has become a bloated borefest and is best avoided, but I'm looking forward to the GF and hope it doesn't turn out to be a one-sided affair.

    The player and his club have recently confirmed their commitment to each other. He's staying at Essendon.

    I've always disliked Owies because of his annoying in-your-face over-celebration after every goal as if he's just kicked the sealer in the Grand Final. However, I could probably warm to him if he did that five or six times per game for MFC.

    MFC have been promised that there will be an ex-Pert barrista working in the KRoffey Shop. The Taylor-made menu will feature Spit On The Lamb served with Greens.
