  1. I reckon one of these would be more appopriate than a raft, @Timothy Reddan-A'Blew . Anyway, onto that final "gimme" clue. St Kilda's 'Flying Viking' almost qualified for my team, but just fell short. That's all, folks. I've herd you've found this teaser particularly tricky but I've got nothing more to offer in the way of hints.
  2. So, those three actors that have featured. What, if anything, could they have in common? Are they part-owners of a Hollywood restaurant? Did they buy a sports team? Live in the same neighbourhood? Something else? This is the second-last hint. The next will give the answer away without doubt and that's not BS.
  3. What's your beef? Have I tapped into your Primal Fear?
  4. I see him as the natural successor to Petty if hairlines are any indication.
  5. Another plank in that raft of yours, @Timothy Reddan-A'Blew .
  6. The theme from 'Deliverance'? Nah, Collingwood fans already lay claim to that one.
  7. Apologies to those who hit the Red Bulls and stayed up all night working on this, all to no avail. There is no sporting connection, nor is the answer associated with the players' names. Further, despite images of certain actors, it has nothing to do with movies. They are still clues, however. Coming up soon are some blatantly obvious hints, but first I'm heading out for a nice drive in my new car. Do you like it?
  8. Before I sign off for tonight, I'll leave you with a more recent image of the young fella above. You might also care to ponder what that "one-hit wonder" Harpo is doing here and how Ralph Wiggum could possibly be relevant. Identify the connections and you'll find yourself much closer to the bullseye. Absolute giveaway clues to be provided tomorrow if necessary.
  9. Time for the final visual clue. There seems to have been a lot of those. Enough to make you wonder if there's some sort of connection.
  10. Don't ever accuse me of not being helpful at all times (ahem). That chap is the young Robert Downey Jr. or a junior Robert Downey if you prefer.
  11. You could play mouth trumpet if you really wanted to get involved.
  12. How about something that was originally released in one of our Premiership years (1959 in this case)? Don't tell me this wouldn't get the players fired up and the crowd dancing in the aisles.
  13. Obviously some thinking music is required to clarify matters. Supplementary hint: no footy connection at all.
  14. @Little Goffy did indeed have a couple of pings at the stumps, but was very wide with his throws. Although today's team is pretty strong, they aren't all stars. However, I must assume that they are better footballers than any of us mug posters. But here's the thing ~ spooky music plays in background ~ ... In what I think might be a first, some Demonlanders would qualify for inclusion in this side, albeit most likely less than 10% of us.
  15. Still no responses. It would appear that more visual assistance is required.
  16. Well, nary a nibble let alone a bite. Time to cast a little burley on the waters. This may help to steer you in the right direction.
  17. Ho ho ho!!! I'm channeling Santa today and gifting a free clue right off the bat. This teaser is not music related in any way, but there are two possibilities. Number 48 might be a total disaster, go belly up and be reminiscent of a Suzi Quatro song. Alternatively, it may go down the Talking Heads track. It definitely won't be a 'Once In A Lifetime' event, but you can be assured that it's the same as it ever was, same as it ever was.** ** Your task is to identify the common factor uniting all the players in the team below. ** Blurt-free zone; answers in a PM only thank you very much. ** A trail of breadcrumbs may be spread from time to time. Are they clues? Hints? Red herrings? Misdirections? That's for you to decipher. ** Did somebody mention Santa Claus? Anybody attempting this puzzle probably needs a Sanity Clause. ===================================================================================== B: Dan Houston Sam Taylor Nick Haynes H/B: Lawson Humphries Jed Adams Harrison Himmelberg C: Chad Warner Isaac Heeney Marcus Windhager H/F: Jake Waterman Taylor Walker Will Ashcroft F: Kai Lohmann Logan Morris Izak Rankine R: Lloyd Meek Finn Callaghan Tom Liberatore I/C: Brodie Kemp Isaiah Dudley Jamie Cripps Luke Pedlar
  18. It's a footy club. My money's on 'Whitey'.
  19. Couldn't agree more, and it's not just footy. The big red "W" (Westpac) on the front of the Australian Test team's shirts looks absolutely dreadful.
  20. Gosh, who to put my faith in? Proven gun recruiter Jason Taylor or random forum poster? Tough, tough choice.
  21. West Coast fans are either insufferable gloaters when they're winning or insufferable sooks when they're not. On balance, I prefer the latter.
  22. As picked up several days ago by @Mouseymoo . Saturday at 09:54 So I guess now we're all considered Onley fans?
  23. Wait until you hear about gatefold LPs with lyric sheets and other inserts!!
