I suspect it's nothing more than a matter of perspective and bias. Every club has an element of its supporter base who believe they cop the rough end of the pineapple from the media, the AFL and the umpires. Some people just can't help wallowing in the murky waters of self-pity, conspiracy theories, victim mentality and persecution complex.
