  1. Some have suggested that we look at drafting Jack Bell as a backup ruck for the Demons, but he's only named as an emergency for this game which suggests he may not be rated that highly.
  2. Woey presumably still feeling the effects of the concussion caused by the thuggish Ladhams. I wonder what is up with Laurie? edit: snap DJ
  3. The odds reflect where the money has been bet. The punters think we're good things tonight.
  4. If we win the flag this year, you better believe I'll be leaving no turn unstoned.
  5. I find it heartwarming when people say "plethora". It means a lot.
  6. It's a moot point as we'll win, but should the unthinkable happen I think we'd officially finish fifth as we finished the H & A season higher than the other team that will be eliminated (Fremantle or Collingwood).
  7. Yeah, let's give them he will. Go Demons!
  8. Here ya go, mate.
  9. You can bet this mob will be there on Friday. I wonder if this is the same David Williamson who posts (used to post?) on here and on Demonology and who was known by the username dawi at one point. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/nervous-times-for-this-family-thanks-to-their-fierce-loyalty-to-melbourne-football-club-20220908-p5bgix.html
  10. The difference, of course, is that "Ginger" Baker did get a gig with Blind Faith.
  11. Maybe because he's been out injured for half the season, has played one match at Casey where he didn't do much and pulled up sore, is clearly not match fit and takes a while to find his form. Otherwise, a baffling decision.
  12. The victim mentality and whinging about the umpires has started early this week.
  13. Wayne Carey, you say?
  14. Charlie's known around the club these days as The Hoarse Whisperer.
  15. Well, he IS bog ordinary.
  16. You're saying you wouldn't let the Premiership change you in any way?
  17. Drink a case of beer and get too much gout.
  18. Does she still drink there, dc?
  19. All this talk about Young and Jackson has me yearning for a big glass of beer.
  20. I was ambivalent about the result of that game until the Pies fans started that "Collingwoooooood" chant with about three minutes to go. You won't see me say this ever again probably, but ONYA CATS!
  21. Once again, you're confusing incompetence with corruption.
  22. Thank you for your weekly cut and paste, Clint.
  23. He was named as one of four emergencies.
