  1. Jackson would look good wearing Number 96. Ask your grandfather, kids.
  2. You'll be thrilled to know that I saw such a truck outside the club today! Alas, it was unloading a shipment of BIC lighters.
  3. Let's hope he has incredible feet, then.
  4. Don't forget to add this to your shopping list, CYB.
  5. Do you really believe that?
  6. My teachers accused me of being a plagiarist. Their words, not mine.
  7. Nibbler copped four weeks for a sling tackle. It's hard to argue that Stewart's act was not worse. edit: *snap DZ
  8. Roughly translated, it means "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries". I think.
  9. Geelong asking for three weeks, AFL want four. Stewart won't be playing against us.
  10. That's his brother, Ben.
  11. I'd be rapt to land either of these two, but if Carlton matched the offer (and I reckon they would), a trade would then become necessary. This is what happened with Jeremy Cameron to Geelong.
  12. Stewart has nothing to deal with. He has no leverage in such a confected outcome. All he can do is plead guilty or not guilty and the answer there is plainly obvious.
  13. Majak goes with my very best wishes for the next stage in his life. Never got to play a game for Melbourne, but did his best for Casey.
  14. If we snaffled both of them, that would be a very Goodyear.

    Boom boom boom!
  16. Stewart has been referred directly to the Tribunal with the offence graded as "careless" (ha ha), "high" and "severe".
  17. If Stewart's action wasn't deliberate, you have to wonder what else his intention could have possibly been.
  18. Hawthorn had seven (!) in 2015 - McEvoy, Lake, Frawley, Gunston, Hale, Gibson and Burgoyne.* Richmond had six in 2017 - Houli, Prestia, Nankervis, Townsend, Caddy and Grigg, as did Sydney in 2012 - Mumford, Kennedy, Richards, Mattner, Morton and Shaw. * Strike Burgoyne off that list - he played in Port's flag in 2004 before his Hawthorn career.
  19. Yes Timothy, those five were excluded so as to not make it too obvious. Brainteasers are meant to be hard to solve. That's the point of them.
  20. Dee Zephyr has come home with a late run to claim third. The answer is that all these players won their first premiership playing for their second club. Given the general lack of interest in today's quiz, I'll hold over some others I have prepared for a later date. Thank you to those who did participate.
  21. Silver has been won by reynolds46, leaving just third place up for grabs. Another clue: today's answer is purely football based.
  22. QED.
  23. Because he retired in 1998 and is now a rotund 57 year old?
  24. Just like 1964, Neil Crompton has come up with the winner and takes home the gold medal today. I'll take pity on everybody else and reveal that, as opposed to my usual method, the answer has nothing to do with the players' surnames.
