  1. Russia doesn't have YouTube? Vlad, Vlad, Vlad!
  2. Stinger Tingay just went bang one season. May have had a help in hand though!
  3. No one picks anyone up these days. Someone will stand next to him at centre bounces but that's it. Rest of the time it's about space.
  4. The two guys that would be under the pump from last week are Michie and Stretch. Salem, while he has been poor this year, is a better option than Michie. Not sure they'll drop Stretch after one week.
  5. Gaff is an elite runner and has excellent disposal. Need some good users on the outside.
  6. Didn't Neitz join Hawthorn this year? Nice one to get back. Good mentor for Jesse and the Weed. Generally speaking, there are a huge number of players that played under Balme and Daniher now involved in coaching. Just waiting for the Wizard's entry into coaching!
  7. The pressure on the ball carrier in the second and third quarters was manic. That's where, blokes like Bugg, Hunt, Harmes, Wagner, Garlett, Pedo, Viney, Kennedy, etc come into it. When they have the energy the game plan is incredible.
  8. Hooly dooly. That one centimetre really comes in handy! Dunn is terrible overhead. Garland can at least mark and cover the ground which is what you need in a zone defence. Frost is another who despite his height struggles to catch the bloody thing. Five possessions last week of which half were turned over. Such form can never be rewarded. Both of them can't do what they're asked and have paid the price. Simple.
  9. Dropping Dunn and Frost. Like! Dunn is lazy and stupid. Frost is an athlete first, footballer fourth! New backline this week. Gonna be interesting to see how it holds up.
  10. With astute management, belief, confidence and a good balance between attack and defence anything is possible. Money won't buy you success. Southampton have similar potential.
  11. Looks like Dunn has over performed again this year!
  12. I don't mind the sentiment. We all complain about hosting home games at shitihad. The mcg is our fookin ground. The other Johnny-come-latelys can bugger off. Someone needs to tell the MFC and AFL of how we feel!
  13. 6. Hogan 5. Viney 4. Jones 3. Vince 2. Jetta 1. Gawn in the absence of anyone else. Refuse to give Tyson a vote for his junk-time possies.
  14. Dunn can go and stay gone. Pathetic. Harmes can make may for ANB or Oliver. Lumumba should be made accountable for his poor performance. In: best performed defender for Casey.
  15. Those that won their position or broke even: Hogan, Jones and Viney. That leaves 19 blokes beaten in their position. Particularly useless were Dunn, Lumumba, TMac, Garlett, Kent and Harmes.
  16. Hard to see us winning this. All our vulnerabilities are exposed in one fell swoop. Gawn, Viney, McDonald, Watts, Garlett, Kent et al are all well down. Saints want it more.
  17. Dunn is officially the stupidest footballer in the AFL.
  18. Haha, Emerald. Great rivalry between Gembrook and Emerald. Those Brooker boys hit the contest hard! The Brookers have had an incredible success rate of AFL players per population. Andrew Shipp, Spud Firritto, Bugg and Craig Clarke are four that come to mind.
  19. His kicking is an asset. But there's not much else going for him. The most frustrating thing is the stupid free kicks he gives away. Also very poor overhead and has the turning circle of the QE2.
  20. I think what a couple of posters are suggesting is that he has a couple of weaknesses that need ironing out. They're not personal attacks, just observations. For what it's worth he will get there. All the ingredients are there. I haven't been overwhelmed this year, then again I may be jaded by his poor SuperCoach scores!
  21. 6. Viney 5. Gawn 4. Tyson 3. Vince 2. Kent 1. Garlett Hard to give TMac votes because of that disposal. Pedo, Bugg, etc unlucky.
  22. Loved Bugg's game. Good in the clinches. Disappointed with Dunn's game. Continues to do more stupid things than beneficial things.
  23. Generally speaking, we waste far too much time worrying what random journos/ex-players/the public/other supporter websites think. As supporters that watch every game our knowledge of our team is in many instances better than those paid to comment on it. It's wasted energy shooting the messenger all the time. We know where we are at and that's all that matters. I think we'll win around 10 games. Depends on injuries/confidence. That probably won't be enough unfortunately.
