  1. Hard to imagine any group of people being any more annoying. Tim Watson is an imbecile. Cliche-ridden, state-the fookin-obvious drivel. Patronising, hyperbolic and dumb. Not a single insight was gained all game.
  2. I'm happy that the FD have sent a message to Dunn. His form in 2010 and 2014 was good. But that's it! Last year he was again poor and that's reflected in the B&F results. The games he's played this year have also been poor (undisciplined, poor coverage of the ground, lazy, etc). For a senior player he does not do enough and never really has. They might as well try and blood replacements. It's a good message to the rest of the group.
  3. In some ways the whole we have to learn defence before attack is a classic Roos Ruse! The reason is that those 10 youngsters with virtually no experience have had little chance to get acquainted with Roos defensive game plan or systems. It was stated to buy time from supporters and the media while trying to get the list under control. If Roos wanted to be consistent he wouldn't have brought in first gamers like Wagner, Hunt, Petracca and Oliver all into the same team simultaneously. Add to that Harmes, Michie, OMac, ANB, Frost, Stretch, etc who only played a couple of games. The learning defence first mantra doesn't really stack up! Otherwise those that had a chance to learn it would have been selected first.
  4. Was there that day on the outer wing at the Western Oval and can confirm that he either snicked or just missed the ball. This is not seen in the video replay a fact that Grinter likes to point out to anyone that listens. ickey, you're talking rubbish.
  5. out: Oscar, Harmes, Garland, Kennedy, Tyson In: Trengove, Frost, Dunn, Oliver, van Demon
  6. 6. Gawn 5. Jones 4. Jetta 3. Hunt 2. Hogan 1. Watts
  7. Guys that deserved to be dropped after today: Kennedy Kent Harmes Garlett Garland oMac ANB Newton Petracca ANB So nearly half the team!
  8. Insert big statement for maximum shock value!
  9. Guess Petracca with a RS nomination has made it so he can cruise.
  10. Soft goals cost us. We were much better than them that quarter but made little inroads.
  11. Both Hurley or Prestia require a first rounder. We don't have one and nor do we necessarily want to trade one of our promising youngsters. Other than two second rounders which might not get it done, I'm interested to know how we think this can work.
  12. i understand the coaches are backing our system/style of play to win, but the whole backline thingy worries me considerably! If that Brisbane nobody could easily pluck contested marks, what is Westhoff and Trengove going to do?
  13. Few ocean swims and he'll be right! Plus for the people of Alice with those white legs he'll be a revelation!
  14. I think he has something but at 25 you wonder if he can pull it together consistently. Was very unlucky to get dropped last weekend. Kicked 2, should have had 4. Wouldn't think you'd need to trade to get him.
  15. Less than impressive performance. More of a reflection of how pizz poor Lions are.
  16. 6. Bugg 5. Hogan 4. Stretch 3. Jones 2. Petracca 1. Oliver
  17. That is close to worst analysis I have seen on Demonland! Dunn is a pathetic mark. Makes Dawes look like Stewart Loewe!
  18. Whose name will Saty be able to drop at training if he leaves...?
  19. The worry was a failure of so many blokes to win the footy. Watts, Michie, Garland, Wagner, Harmes had three or less contested possessions. A quarter of the team. Not good enough..
  20. Hunt, Wagner, Garland, Michie should all be under scrutiny. Just happens that all four are defenders. Omac,Lumumba are most likely. ANB will come in for Vince.
  21. True, but five contested marks and three goal assists in my eyes is better than uncontested stats when the game is over like those from Watts.
  22. 6. Jetta 5. Tyson 4. Viney 3. Stretch 2. Vince 1. Hogan
  23. We thought we were good at contested ball. They are much better. Either we don't have the players or the set-up of the zone defence is not working. Even if you are getting beaten you can stay in the game by converting easy set shots. Hogan looking at you. Not good enough.
  24. Too many frontrunners. Nineteen more contested possessions says all you need to know. Jetta great. Hogan needs to convert. Gawn need tp get in the game.
