  1. Positive: Hunt, Jones, Watts stepping in for Max. Some nice kicks from Melksham. Stretch early. ANB tried hard. Petracca useful. Negatives. Hannan (didn't do enough), Tyson (53 percent disposal), Oscar (horrible again), Weideman (no presence), Smith looked off pace.
  2. 6. Hunt 5. Jones 4. Watts 3. Stretch 2. Neal Bullen 1. Kent
  3. [censored] it up against the wall. Shame. Hunt, Jones and Watts great.
  4. Geelong talls killing us. Blixavs, Hawkins, etc. Good goal by Bull but turned it over twice going forward.
  5. Bad enough Barry Prendergast and Brock McLean dobbing us in for tanking! Now this! We need a new enemy. Collingwood was getting boring.
  6. Many effective possessions but meaningless.
  7. Bolton found a way to clog us up. Good coaching. Cripps, Murphy, Gibbs, etc were better than our midfield. Jeffy was brilliant. Salem had a breakout game. Jetta is in great form. Hogan didn't look right. Watts lifted in the last Brayshaw, ANB, Hannan, Lewis were decidedly ordinary.
  8. 6. Garlett 5. Salem 4. Jones 3. Oliver 2. Jetta 1. Tyson
  9. Naive coaching. Goodwin must ring in the changes. Players need to bite the bullet and take game on. Start winning some clearances would help as well.
  10. McCartin is nowhere near fit enough at the moment to play AFL.
  11. The problem with Oscar is that opposition teams will start targeting him as easily the weakest link in the backline. Goodwin alluded to it in his press conference. With most teams playing a version of zone defence, all they need to do is kick it in Omac's vicinity and let his lack of one-on-one skills go to work. Not ideal.
  12. Were a couple of other with ANB Petraccattack! Reckon Goodwin sees something in his outstanding endurance.
  13. 6. Clarry 5. Jones 4. Lewis 3. Vince 2. Hogan 1. Neal Bullen
  14. Salem needs to lift big time. Oscar awful. Melksham worries me.
  15. I saw some good tackles and he flew for mark of the year on one occasion. What else did you see? I'm intrigued.
  16. The content is poor. Interviews are shallow and uninformative. Matt Burgan's standard interview question is: how did you find it? After repeating that three times he has nothing. Shocking lack of sub-editing/proofreading. Robbo is an asset but seems to only get PR-type assignments. His 'I was good just ask me' routine is tiresome as well.
  17. Guy in newspaper states an opinion. Demonland shoots messenger even though many agree! Relax, Many pundits will say many things. Some may be true. Some speculation. Some wrong. Take it with a grain of salt and you'll enjoy the ride much better.
  18. McCartin shouldn't worry us. He's miles off being an AFL standard footballer. Slow and no tank. The other three can really hurt you. Need Frost to play last JLT.
  19. Strange that JKH gets a game. Apart from one nice mark/goal in the opening minutes of the second game has done nothing. Pretty confident Stretch at Etihad plays before Spencer and Melksham.
  20. After the first two JLT games the definite starters are: Hogan, Jones, Viney, Vince, Petracca, Gawn, Lewis and Salem. That leaves 16 places up for grabs. Healthy competition.
  21. From what I saw of TMac last week he was worst on ground. He will continue to play because of his running, spoiling and marking. His disposal can be atrocious.
  22. Couldn't watch the game but I am particularly interested in how Salem, Stretch and Melksham went. They are crucial for our carrying of the ball on the outside. Tony Shaw said on radio that Melsham struggled...?
  23. Absolutely agree! The only question he can muster us: How did you find it! His recent interview with Petracca is a disgrace. Surely it would be normal to have a list of questions you wanted to ask? No insights whatsoever.
