You can't be passive in metropolitan football let alone VFL or AFL football. Has an orange streak down his back so instant delist.
-
Would have sworn that Schroeder would make it. Ruthless business.
-
Can obviously run good distances and can chip pass. Don't see anything else to be honest.
-
Depressing that the Dees can't get a player into the squad of 40 let alone the 22. Then again when do get Frawley and Jamar in the team they are cr*p for the rest of their careers!
-
Whichvever way it turns out, in 2009 Sylvia still played the best individual game against Hawthorn I've seen for 10 years when he had 37 touches and booted four or five.Three Brownlow votes as well. Original poster should let sleeping dogs lie.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
dee-tox replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why not! Boy can play. Wouldn't want to give up too much for a 27-year-old but he's an All-Australian and averages 20 a game which make him elite at our club! -
Gartlett yes. Bloke capable of 40 plus goals a season. From memory Dawes kicked 19 this season as leading goalkicker.

Any post with 17 ampersands in it has to be good!

6. N Jones 5. Vince 4. Bail 3.Tyson 2. Cross. (four frees against though) 1. Michie (showed a bit)

It's all about trust. When you're on the footy field, or any other sporting field, you need to be able to look at the guy next to you and see he is giving his all. When it's your time to go, you go hard. That creates a special bond between players. Jack Watts is not an AFL footballer. He's a touch footballer where tackling and physicality are not necessary.

Said it in another thread. You have more chance of catching a fart in a butterfly net than Dawes catching a football. Kicking has turned to shyte as well.
-
Quite incredible that we pay Dawes over half a million ayear! McDonald is probably the worst disposer of the ball in the AFL. Trade him now. We should call Viney autumn leaves. He spends all his time on the ground. Someone told me Kent was a good kick. Three out on the fulls in a row says he's not.

I wonder whether Roos will give Strauss a run before the end of the season. Might not make any difference, but there may be one club out there that thinks they can turn him into a decent footballer?
-
6. Gawn 5. Jetta 4. Tyson 3. Howe. 2. Jamar 1. Frawley.
-
Dawes would have to be the worst player overhead in the competition. Gawn, Tyson and Jetta least look up to it.
-
Ken Bruce post but I like the optimism.
-
How lucky are we Chris Dawes said no to us.
dee-tox replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
Dawes cannot mark over his head. Bit like catching farts with a butterfly net. Not what you need as a centre half forward. -
Comparisons are odious.

Players to target at the end of the year
dee-tox replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
They have a pretty decent 'investment' in us at the moment as well! -
Nice anecdote. Obviously Picket Fence is a nutter!

Heard the powers that be are not that impressed with his aerobic ability and skin folds. Need to give him a few games to get his trade value up. Blease is in the same boat.
-
6. Viney 5. McDonald 4. Matt Jones 3. Nate Jones 2. Bail 1. Garland

Grimes must have some amazing leadership qualities to be captain because he has few footballer qualities. Nothing more certain than him missing from 10 metres out.

Weird thread this! Enjoying a cruise down the Rhine thought and I'd get some inciteful analysis on the game. All I can guage is that every player except Jamar and Viney was rubbish. Guess that's the sad thing about footy forums.
