Bloke would be a decent addition. Vast improvement on what we have. Showed plenty at the Saints under Lyon.
-
Kicking is abysmal.
-
Just remind me how you fluke a premiership? I'd be happy if Melb fluked a top-eight spot! Has the runs on the board. Wouldn't be the first person to disagree with the eccentric Sheedy.
-
Some Melb fans are delusional. This was the worst possible result for supporters. A disgusting season that cant be sugar-coated. Mike is probably hurting as all demon supporters are but he has a job to call it how it is.
-
Some Demon fans will be impressed with this sort of talk. However, I could have a vision on how I want the club to be run and speak quite eloquently. Doesn't mean it will happen or the players will embrace it. As many have noted we need to see results and quickly. Sport is about actions, and sadly what we have seen over the past six months has been dreadful.
-
If Wayne Carey told you to go harder you would. Man is a beast and that is what Melb need more of. Only person with more aura is Barassi.
-
Eishold, Campbell and Yeats. Most amazing game I've witnessed.
-
Bit of hyperbole in this thread! Best since turn of century. No. Neitz, Farmer, Yze leave him for dead. Schwartz, James Mc, and probably Green had better careers.

Been there, got the T-shirt.

Complete spud. Next.

3 Years for Jamar and McKenzie - seriously?
dee-tox replied to Watts Jurrah Dunn?'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Tend to agree.Jordie is a struggler who makes us a liability in the centre square and Jamar has been pus for past two years. We need to do more in both positions. -
Lot of people are not aware of this but Liam was asked if he would commit to Melb. He couldn't. If he is consistent in what he told Melbourne, he won't commit fully at Port either. Neeld, Mahoney and one other were less than happy and was effectively sacked by the club. Jurrah's manager then got on the front foot and said he walked.
-
Frawley has been a massive disappointment this year as has Jamar. They look anything but all Australian players this season.
-
The fact is at the moment we only have perhaps six players that are up to it. These are Clark, Jones, Howe, Sylvia, Grimes and Howe. None of them will be in newspaper top 50s at the end of the season. Another two or three guys (Blease, Trengove possibly Watts might make it). So that means we need to find at least 13 AFL standard players. There is a long way to go!
-
I get the impression that his refusal to train up to his court resulted in Melbourne sacking him. Fair enough too. In a professional club visiting family is not a good enough reason to miss six months of pre-season. Sad cos he was so exciting to watch in his first 10 games.
-
Melb have three or four players that are up to the level. Jones, Sylvia, Grimes and maybe Howe. The rest are chumps. How McDonald, Nicholson, Bail, Jetta etc get to play AFL with their kicking amazes me.
-
Guy is a pea heart. Was prepared to support him up til now, but not any longer. So soft. Plays on his terms. Doesn't go when required. Doesn't bleed for the club. Massive disappointment.
-
Say what you want about Bailey but 8 and a half wins without Clark, beats one proper win every time. I went to training a number of times and at times it was bordering on overtraining. One session went for 3.5 hours at good intensity.
-
Must all Demonland posters use the whilst. Sounds so pompous! Now on topic, Jordie needs a few more strings to his bow. Just being a negator doesn't cut it if you line up in the centre square at every bounce.
-
I'd prefer Chip go to the Anthony Ingerson school of defence. Start making his opponents earn their kicks. Ingerson's opponents would think twice when marking in front. Walker hardly had any physical pressure all day.
-
What a way to celebrate 100 games. Pathetic.
-
When did Frawley become so crap?
-
Positives Contested ball is better. Howe shows potential. Jones has been excellent. Tom McD should make it if he improves disposal. Grimes has played all season. Blease has shown a bit. Watts may have found his best position. Casey are performing well under B Lovett. Clark is an elite kick but too courageous for his own good. Club seems to have sorted the sooks from the men.
-
One year contract. MacDonald has also earned another year. I fear for the future of Bate, Bennel, Beamer, Bartram, Morton, Petterd and Davis.
-
Sort of bloke, if you traded would star at another club. Has all the tools. Gets marked too hard by most Dee supporters.
