  1. Whos spot does he take??
  2. Both, something that BBB cant do.
  3. Well summed up Old. Another option may be to bring in Schache to play back for the next two games to play on McKay and Cox.
  4. It was a typo I just left after the fact
  5. Only if you step outside the goal square, which is almost all the time
  6. OUT - HARMES One of the most selfish games Ive seen for a long time. Classic case of a player whos been in the twos and played in the seniors for himself and himself only to keep his spot/career. Last straw was the mark he dropped in the last Q that was going to hit JVR on the chest. He looked at JVR and still decided to put his hand out to try and mark it running with the flight of ball. Had enough.
  7. right so you need to ring up and book a seat or your membership wont get you in the gate
  8. People public tickets are sold. If you have a MFC GA membership you need to purchase a seat, which you still can. there will be no walk ups on the day. No reserved seat no entry.
  9. https://cms.megaphone.fm/channel/NNNRS7287758366?selected=NNNRS2457598670 anyone who thinks Hunter went with the incorrect technique or had another option ie arms out, head first needs to listen to this from Harford. Nails it
  10. which is both correct and perfect method to pick up a ground ball and protect yourself
  11. These comments can not be more wrong and unfortunately stupid. Gee I hope you have nothing to do with coaching junior football.
  12. Your missing that we have a bye in there. Once again with the Monday game into a bye into a Thursday game the players pretty much miss out on having a break/weekend off compared to all the other teams.
  13. How much of an advantage is it for teams who play either WCE NTH or HAW twice, Just not fair. Checks notes; Melbourne are still yet to play Nth and Haw a second time. 😉
  14. Lets not limit this to melb supporters. Below crowds are Coll home games from last season. I wonder what has changed from this year to last??????? 25k v WCE 36K v ADEL 30K v GWS and Rich 28k v WCE last week
  15. I wonder if part of the thinking of Petty forward is gaining more run (extra small) from the back half to help on the turnover/transition.
  16. and now check out what Sydney have just moved into https://www.sydneyswans.com.au/video/1276518/sydney-swans-hq-fly-through?videoId=1276518&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1677562086001
  17. I think that's just JJ. Not great at anything not bad at anything just good at all. His all round ability is what had got him to where he is now but I dont think he has got anything special to keep him at the level. Other players could/should go past him pretty quickly.
  18. I think both Trac and Clarry had there lowest TOG for the season.
  19. Yeah the last few years. Aimed at giving the VIC kids a chance to play against men as per the WAFL and SANFL kids can.
  20. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1320968/deal-done-kozzy-for-four-more
  21. you made that assertion after all of 5 mins play. JVR looked out of his depth in the first 3 quarters until a VFL defender went to him
  22. looks like him TALENTED TEEN WEIGHS CRICKET INTEREST HARRY DeMattia can lay claim to a unique lead-in to this year's Coates Talent League. The Dandenong Stingrays prospect was a substitute fielder for the Australian cricket team during last year's Boxing Day Test match, taking the field at stages across the contest against South Africa. Harry DeMattia (right) during the 2022 Boxing Day Test. Picture: Foxtel DeMattia, who plays for premier cricket club Melbourne, followed up his Boxing Day cameo by playing at the Victorian underage cricket championships. But now DeMattia, a powerful and versatile prospect, is fully invested in his footy campaign playing in the under-18 competition. Last week the 184cm prospect kicked three goals from 14 disposals against the Geelong Falcons, and he will play a mix of different roles this season with his good kicking and speed. He ran the 20-metre sprint in 2.92 seconds at the recent Coates Talent League testing day. DeMattia faces a decision on his sporting future at some stage this season but has AFL clubs interested after a strong start to the year. Harry DeMattia playing for the Dandenong Stingrays. Picture: Jazz Bennett "He had a foot niggle in the pre-season but he was still around the group all of the time and he trained at a high level in the rehab group," said Stingrays talent manager Toby Jedwab. "The role he's got lined up is as a high half-forward and he can also play half-back and he has gone into a midfield rotation as well. He'll play a bit of everywhere through the season." – Callum Twomey
  23. I believe Gus Dad gave it to him after he remined him of someone who he played with at North that they called knuckles???
  24. has the overhead throwball perfected
