Taylor and Lamb have shown over the years they will have no hesitation to use next years first and pay it forward. I don't see us taking 4 picks under 30ish. we just dont have the list spots or the depth need to bring in 4-5 18yo this year. You can see with Laurie and Howes we just cant fit them in the team, form not withstanding. What we can fit in the 22 is high end talent. That's why I can see us offering the world for pick 1 or CG 5 and taking 1 or 2 high end talent instead of 4 top 30.

My thoughts would it would be purely match ups. Against Rich Jack was the best match up for Thomo and May could take a smaller option which is not Thomos go. It will be interesting with finals teams v North. North only have Larkey and maybe the resting ruck. Do we play Thommo on Larkey and May on a small or does May take Larkey and we bring in Hibbo for Thommo to play on a small.

My concern is we need to guarantee WCE can get Curtain if thats who they want. Pick 4 doesn't do that. Esp with Haw with Frost coming to end, DGB not really working so far and Sicilly not big KP size. Therefore can we get 2 off North. Pick 2 would be a lot more tempting for WCE than 4 as it grantees they get there man. could we swap 4 15 23 to North for 2 & 17 then swap 2 & 17 to WCE for pick 1 or something similar???
