I remember when this site went into melt-down before the 2006 Semi Final when Jamar missed the game. Things have changed haven't they I'm happy to have him on for 2008. With Meeson, White, Jamar and PJ - we'll have quite a handy ruck stable with plenty of depth, which can only be a good thing. 2 year contract is a bit rich, but I'm guessing their planning for the post White era.

Trading Robbo is a stupid idea. All we need it for Neitz to miss games next year- then we'll have the most impotent forward line in the AFL. Unfortunetly Miller's 8 goals a year won't make up for Robbo's loss. ------------------------------------------------- EDIT -Understand why the club would say no to 3 years though. Hopefully they'll come to a compromise ie- 2 year contract with higher salary.

Spot on. If Robbo leaves, we may have the most impotent forward line in the AFL, if Neitz has another injury riddled year! Does anyone remember rounds 3-5 this year we're we had to rely on Miller and Green to be our major goal kickers. Not surprisingly we were getting belted by 8 goals a game and averaging just 10 goals a game. Some of the "Lets trade Robbo" people need to realise that we're losing a 50-60 goal per year foward.

Bought a Port scarf the other day and wearing it to the game. The look on the Cats players and fans and all the tears streaming down their faces will be priceless if they lose! It's Melbourne or nothing. I'd rather the flag stay out of VIC.

Once is bad luck. Twice is a joke. I find it a bit suspicious how: "The Swedish blokes started it in the Greek Islands" "The Dutch bloke started it in Munich" Is there a pattern? These blokes are paid $250,000- $300,000 to uphold standards and behaviour. If their not willing to pay this small sacrifice, then they should be playing suburban footy at some bogan club.

But imagine how crap we'll be next year if we lose our leading goal kicker and classiest midfielder. Did anyone notice we started playing better footy when Trapper returned from injury for the Dogs game in round 19. He is a must keep in my opinion.

Its a shame the Kangaroos made the Prelim. I can think of about 12 other sides that would've given Port more of a run for their money. At the end of the day the Roos were a 10-13 side masquareding as a finalist, and they'll slide back down the ladder next year.
