I didn't. To be brutally honest, he's played 2 good games (V GWS and Brisbane) and 5 poor to ordinary games. He's influence has been very minimal as he fades in and out of games pretty badly. Probably averaging about 10 touches a game. A very underwhelming start. Thoughts?

Sorry guys, thought we needed an onfield thread for a change. What's everyone's thoughts on him so far? I've been reasonably impressed so far. Averaging about 20 touches, seems to be a good athlete, continually provides an option, plays with a bit of heart. On the flip side he lacks class and is clearly not a goal kicking midfielder. Overall he's been a rare good news story, but can he make the step up from average to good over the next 18 months?

Just found out the reason Davey or Rodan wasn't picked is that it would've made us more experienced than Gold Coast. Neeld relies on the lack of experience excuse to justify loses.
