Injury List - Season 2019
Mahoney in yesterday’s telecast suggested that Oliver and T Mac will likely play JLT 1 v Richmond.

GAME DAY - Scratch Match vs Collingwood
How many are Collingwood missing?

Most Heartbreaking Loss?
Geelong loss after the siren last year was my most heart breaking. Seen way too many train wrecks down there and that game put me over the edge. The drive home from Geelong to Pakenham (12:30am) that night was not great.

Training - Wednesday, 20th February, 2019
I'm still filthy (as should he) he was overlooked in the prelim, meanwhile Tyson jogged around and picked up a massive 3 kicks and 1 tackle for the game. Hopefully he can take his game to another level year this year as he has class written all over him.

Great news. He's one bloke we don't want missing round 1.

Fox Footy's 2019 Top 8 Predictions

Dees to take on Pies in Scratch Match (22/2/19)
That we've had a soft pre-season compared to others??

Dees to take on Pies in Scratch Match (22/2/19)
Nathan Jones basically played down this up-coming match Vs Collingwood as a glorified training session. I wouldn't be surprised if there's no scoring.

Injury List - Season 2019
I can already predict this quote from the coach or senior player after the season's finished: "In retrospect, the late start to the pre-season, combined with the larger than normal rehab group throughout the summer contributed to our late season fade-out/sluggish start to the season".

Kangaroos Intra Club 13th February
Yeah agree with others on the thread. Tyson’s a very good footballer who’ll be an asset for North.

Training - Tuesday 12th February, 2019
Agree 100%. It’s been a poor pre season (judging by DL training and media reports) whichever way you cut it. Extremely late start to the season by our standards (how will we adapt?) AFLPA imposed breaks every other week effecting continuity, especially since we started back late. Gawn being the only player of our acclaimed midfield to have a full pre season to date. Tons of rehabbers in any session. While we could have as little as Jake Lever unavailable for round 1, will the gun players who have had interrupted pre seasons survive the year without injury? Hopefully I’m jumping at shadows and we’ll be just fine.

Dees to take on Pies in Scratch Match (22/2/19)
Damn straight! There'll be more on the line in round 21 than Queens birthday.

Opposition Watch: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
For those disrespecting Port, they were actually 11-4 last year before they fell off the cliff. They’ve also won 5 of their last 6 round 1 encounters, with that one loss being a respectable 8 point loss to Freo away in 2015. So they tend to start the season like a rocket.

Dees to take on Pies in Scratch Match (22/2/19)
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-02-07/all-australian-rucks-to-go-head-to-head-in-scratch-match Practice match V's Collingwood on Friday 22 Feb (morning) at Olympic Park. Not sure if it will be a full blown 4 quarter scoring affair, or just a glorified training session between both sides.

Round 1 team 2019
And I have doubts Melksham (hammy) will be available either for round 1.
-
Opposition Watch: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
Gut feel tells me Melksham (hamstring issues) will be the only one from rehab to miss round 1. This is provided we don't have an inury in the JLT (ala T McDonald last year)

Opposition Watch: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
Any word on Charlie Dixon’s recovery from a broken leg? Wines, Polec, Wingard and maybe Dixon would be handy outs from the side that beat us last year. Mind you they’ll include Hartlett and Lycett into the side.

I find that hard to believe...

New Major Sponsor - Jaguar CONFIRMED
I'll be fuming if we run out V's Port with no back of jumper sponsor, as per the start of 2017. The traditionalist will argue that it's a great look to have a sponsor-less jumper, but it's quite frankly an embarrassing look in this day in age.

Farewell Dean Kent
Well played with the symmetry! But quite frankly Kent's not in the same postcode as Powell was as an AFL footballer. A damn shame he only played 3 seasons with us (2000-2002) with one of them wiped out through injury.

Training - 2nd February, 2019 @ Maroochydore
Agreed. I can only assume the new MFC's media bloke was/is sick in his hotel room throughout the entire camp. They've had a whopping one player interview (Jetta) and that was back on day 1. Burgan was a good contributor to the MFC website and probably did his best work during the camps. He certainly kept the fans well truly updated with what was happening up on the Sunshine Coast.
