Farewell Sam Frost
I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Jamie Elliott
Much to get excited about next year with the ‘O’28 leading our forward line.

I agree. Up the ante! It’s a risk but we’re not giving up key draft picks. Now Sydney is a team that’s taking a dangerous risk with Daniher, due to giving away first round drafts.

I know it’s not looking good anymore but this would be our greatest free agency signing coup since we got Shannon Byrnes over the line in 2012.

They know about as much as us.

Jamie Elliott
Anyone else flicking between this thread and the Elliott thread on Collingwood’s Bigfooty forum?

Jamie Elliott
Apparently his brother lives in QLD.

Gun target - Key Forward recruit?
Josh Jenkins. The bloke just kicks goals. If he plays 20 games next year, he kicks 40 goals, pure and simple. Can Weideman, Petty, O Mac or whoever we plonked down forward in the train wreck of 2019 snag 40 in a year? Adelaide are more than willing to pay a fair bit of his salary. He has a bad reputation because he’s outspoken in the media, and kicks a lot of goals from the goal square. But id take him as I have no faith in Weed due to injury and consistency.

I would’ve thought the best and fairest would be the perfect forum for Collingwood to announce Elliott’s re-signing. Would have had the crowd in raptures and the supporters on a high into the off season. We’re still a chance but deep down as a Melbourne supporter you know how it’s going to end.

He is hopeless, glad we didn’t get him.
We tried to trade pick 2 for Myers and Colyer but Essendon wanted more. We’ve had some train wreck drafting and trading but that would’ve been the holy grail of epic fails.

2019 Player Reviews: #4 James Harmes
Should've finished 3rd in the B&F, rather than Viney.

Jamie Elliott
If it’s now down to Elliott choosing us or staying at Collingwood, we chose a really bad year to have a really bad year.

Brendan McCartney on SEN
Good interview that had you listen to his every word. He didn't think we were all that good in 2018 and were quite lucky to beat Hawthorn in the semi.

Gaff or Andrew Brayshaw Rumour
If take Brayshaw over Gaff. One’s got 5 year of stardom left. The other will be an absolute star in a couple of years for 5-10 years. Anyone who’s undecided about Brayshaw needs to watch his 3 goal performance against Freo late in the year at Marvel.

Farewell Sam Frost
Sounds right. Hawthorn usually get their man and their mantra is to pay unders for him. Same with Geelong. If you want to win a deal in trade week, Hawthorn would be the last team you’d deal with.

Farewell Sam Frost
I’ll back the club on this one. Everything we do in trade week and list management turns to gold....

Farewell Sam Frost
Hawks will offer a fourth rounder for Frost. And knowing Mahoney, he’ll take it with a smile on his face. They got Scully for a fourth rounder (albeit with an injury cloud) , no way they’d offer anything more for Frost.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather Frost over Tomlinson. We’re the slowest club in the AFL and we’re now happy to punt the fastest player on our list.

Petracca Ready to Take Next Step
I’d play this bloke as a half forward flanker pinch hitting for 2 centre bounces a quarter. Despire his want to be a full time midfielder, he should be utilising his innate ability to hit the score board. Petracca should be aiming for and kicking 40 goals a year and be in contention for all Australian.

2019 - thank god it’s over!!!
I thought 2019 was a pretty good year by the Dees. Thought ANB, Stretch, JFK and the Wagners took giant strides as AFL footballers.
-
Petracca Ready to Take Next Step
Wow that’s lofty expectations! The elite such as Martin, Fyfe and Dangerfield aren’t even capable of it.
-
Keith “Bluey” Truscott Trophy 2019
Just mail Gawn the medal and cancel the night. Absolutely nothing to celebrate this year.
-
Petracca Ready to Take Next Step
And not once in that article did he mention the club and how he hopes they bounce back next year. It was only about his personal development as an AFL player and how he hopes to become a full time midfielder.

Premiership Window: Open or Closed?
Another example of the media over-rating us, even after the disaster that was 2019. How can North and St Kilda's window be deadlocked closed, two clubs that were significantly better than us in terms of wins. Meanwhile they reckon our window is ajar to wide open after a 5 win disgrace. No wonder our players drink their own bathwater as much as any other club.

Re-Signings 2019
If this bloke can finally stay out of the medical room he could be a solution to our key forward woes. A 4 goal JLT performance on one leg was very promising and he can take a grab. A big IF tough in terms of whether he can stay healthy and whether he's actually good enough.
