  1. Tomlinson watch: 5 possessions and just directly cost his side a goal with a kick into the man on the mark. Me thinks he’s mentally checked out.
  2. Tomlinson busy with 2 possessions to his name, early second qtr
  3. I'm excited!! Elliott today. One of the Wagners yesterday (I was so excited I forgot to note which one!) Tomorrow?
  4. And Fritsch.
  5. HF - Melksham Weed Petracca F Elliott T Mac Fristch Where do I sign?
  6. If we draft another Spargo at pick 3 then that’s it for me.
  7. Seems odd that we’re the slowest team in the league and are happy to see one of our rare fast players head out the door. This club....
  8. “We don’t even notice the new runner rule anymore. infact it probably favours us if anything” - Adam Simpson on 3AW, 10 Sep. Interesting comparison between 2 top 4 sides from 2018.
  9. Would be disappointing if he left. I have no faith, trust or confidence in Lever and May playing a full season, and O Mac's not in our best 22.
  10. Speaking of Roos not rating players, wasn't he offered Toby Greene as steak knives in that Tyson & Salem trade and he said thanks but no thanks... Tomlinson would be a good get but not sure a great one. Has never polled a brownlow vote or got into an All Australian squad. He did however play an outstanding game on the wing in the 2017 prelim V's Richmond. I assume he'd be our regular winger next year if he comes across.
  11. 2008 > 2019 At least in 2008 we had a rubbish list and were expected to finish in the cellar.
  12. Pretty sure no one called Wayne was born after the mid 1970's.
  13. I had us at 12:01am after the Sydney debacle a few weeks back.
  14. I had that thought too but apparently Geelong request all home games at KP.
  15. Given the high expectations on the club, I would say only season 2013 was worse (and less enjoyable) than 2019. At least in 1999, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2014 we knew we were crap.
  16. I'm still in favour of the wild card weekend despite your arguments. Top 6 should be the new top 8 and 7th and 8th can battle it with 9th and 10th for the right to play finals. In my opinion finishing 7th or 8th is a very mediocre achievement as was proven by Essendon last night. Hawthorn would've beaten them in the hypothetical wild card weekend and been a much tougher opponent for West Coast. Finally, it would've made a very dull Fathers' day weekend more exciting with a couple of games with finals on the line.
  17. I guessing Jack won't be captain now that Daddy's gone.
  18. I didn’t mind Rawlings and agree with others that he was likely our best assistant coach. But, why is he getting rave reviews for turning our forward line around? We had a 2-8 record under Rawlings as our fwd line coach which was an even worse record than before the mid season changes.
  19. There should be a wild card round weekend between rounds 23 and week 1. 7 v 10 8 v 11 Essendon V Hawthorn at the G, 80,000, Friday night. A nice bit of revenue I would've thought. But instead we have to watch a bunch of washed up has-beens run around in a stupid AFL x game. Make these teams play finals without a break, and make finishing top 6 more rewarding.
  20. An absolute master stroke by Goody to send him up forward in round 17. A move none us keyboard heroes would've contemplated in a million years. That's why they pay him the big bucks.
  21. I hope there's an element of truth in that.
  22. I actually think he's what we need. One of the best contested marks in the league and would add critical depth to our forward line. We can't have a repeat of the second Sydney game where we literally ran out of key forwards.
  23. I like him when he's up and going but only averages 12 games a year via form and injury. Fourth rounder at most as he's never strung more than 19 games a year.
  24. I blame Jones for the 90 seconds of happiness I could’ve had after the North game.
  25. Don't worry, Scott's got a contract for life on the back of the 2011 flag.
