  1. Harsh mate. He did keep Lynch to 1 goal and quite frankly didn’t do much wrong for the entire night. Deserves votes tonight and may have to say back until May or Lever returns.
  2. We might finally get that pick 1 we’ve been craving!
  3. Anyone give us a sniff V Gold Coast as that might be the closet thing to a win we’ll have for the next 10 weeks.
  4. Have to agree
  5. Any reason why after years of linking arms around each other’s shoulder for the national anthem and Anzac ceremony we decided not to do it this year?
  6. He’ll be happy with that. Can now wear his beloved Richmond scarf and polo to the game.
  7. That would be coaching 101 to have T Mac playing as a defender tonight. Hibberd on Jack Riewoldt or Lynch probably isn’t desirable as we found out last week.
  8. Lucky it wasn’t a set shot.
  9. Any chance Richmond might be a bit knackered from Saturday night and won' have the energy to go on a 16 goal second half avalanche? If that's the case we must stay close with them at half time if we're any chance of a respectable result. Yes I know we alos played on Saturday, but we only ran one way so should have plenty in the tank...
  10. I know right. Puts bank term deposit interest rates to shame. Should really be Richmond $1.10.
  11. Sounds like Hannan and JFK (for anyone that cares) are progressing well and should be back by mid season at latest.
  12. That was supposedly his one point of difference that got him onto an AFL list. Alas his goal kicking has been horrid.
  13. Can’t wait for the Hibberd on Tom Lynch match up.
  14. C Wagner and Spargo need to be dropped. Both caused momentum killing turnovers when the game was slightly on our terms in the first half. If we get spanked this week, then it's time to start dropping a high profile player a week to give them a massive wake up call that's no longer 2018. T Mac, Hibberd and Lewis should be the first 3 casualties.
  15. In fairness, it was us and Richmond who initiated and built the event so I can't see the AFL taking the slot off us on the back of one poor performance.
  16. but encouraging JLT form — without being dominant — showed enough to reinstall confidence in the coaching panel. Tom Morris lost me at this above. I thought our JLT Series was alarm bells and we're getting exactly what was previewed in the pre season games.
  17. Good post. i enjoy posters who provide a description next to the votes.
  18. St Kilda are bloody impressive and will likely finish 6th-8th. We were a disgrace yesterday.
  19. A key reason why we’re 1-4 and soon to be 1-5 on Wednesday is T Mac’s disgraceful form this year. Every MFC supporter had their dreams and hopes in the hands of T Mac and he’s totally stunk up the joint this year. I’m not buying he’s injured. I’m buying into the fact that he’s [censored] the bed this year (like a few of his mates) and needs to turn around his and our season ASAP.
  20. You may or not be right but there has to be an explanation for our disgraceful start to the season!
  21. Can’t use May and Lever as an excuse when they’re missing Carlisle and Roberton
  22. Will the 28 degree heat favour the Saints because we appear to be one of the unfittest sides in the league? Refer rounds 1 and 3. Or will it favour us as the Saints are coming off a veryphysical games with 3 less days break?

  24. Can’t think of any other time Essendon have broken the rules...
  25. I actually think the other way around. North V Dons should be entertaining while Eagles will likely strangle Port to a very low score in wet conditions.
