We are starting to get significant injuries and playing every few days doesn't help. Some may say it is the same for all sides but it is not. During this crowding of games each side has had a bye. The exceptions being Melbourne and Essendon.

I would think that Jaidyn Hunt is only one of a few that are playing for their careers this game. Shame about Brown I thought he played his role early on against the Swans but seems to lack consistency. Melksham does provide some block for Weideman but needs to use both hands to get the ball himself. The team seems to lack enthusiasm for the game and it is shown in the stats. We are a confirmed clearance, contested ball team who has great numbers of I50's. All of these KPI's are well down. Tackle numbers are embarassing. Our inclusions for this week don't seem to have a history of numbers to improve those team stats but they may have enthusiasm.

I am a veteran barracker and supporter and remember that our most successful times were when we played for the jumper. Now apparently I am classed as a " fan" and a member and players seem to play for a wage. A good culture is a winning culture and losing hurts. In this age it is not possible but a bad loss meant a light paypacket whereas winning could be lucrative. Just saying..

The Saints defender only half chased the ball until it bounced and did a Warnie. If he had of run hard from the outset he would have saved a goal and controversy. Maybe the match.

Pickett seems overawed and gets few possessions and has little idea of what to do ball in hand - replace with Hunt. Harmes to replace Hannan. Spargo has lost his Sparko, replace with Bennell.

I don't believe it is an insult to the Ox albeit intended. It shows me that the Ox cared deeply.

I feel that Christian actually stops our forward momentum at times. His first instinct is to stop and to look for a target whereas looking for a target whilst moving forward would be more beneficial.

As someone has already said Oliver kicks blindly on most occasions . I would extend that and say that ours mids are not creative. Lack of onfield talk? Insufficient coaching in this area? Actually I will extend this and say that most players lack creativity.

I don't believe that changes to the deckchairs will help. We lack pivotal players to get through pivotal times in match. We don't have a player like Dangerfield who can play and also is able to con free kicks at times and usually makes the most of them. The Selwoods who is a general on the ground and block and scrap. Smart players like Rowan who pushes a pack forward to shepherd through a goal. We haven't the smarts to run past Salem on the 50 arc. No link man like a Duncan. No key forward no matter what name we use. For the sake of change...out McDonald, Melksham and play the youngsters Jackson, Weideman.

It seems to be a lack of system or lack of confidence in a system With Stewart down at quarter time TMac should have had a field day. Salem needs to play continuos football and TMac dropped. Ti m e to play t h e youngsters all year.
