Underground handballs
The bounce handpass is good for a player to dispose of the ball however for the receiver it slows the ball up after bouncing. This adds pressure to the receiver to then take and dispose of the ball. Also, quite often, the ball is fumbled as the bounce is inconsistent.

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Luci, I agree with you. In fact I could not agree more. We cannot afford not to play Petty forward. Although he marks very few he is competitive and rarely outmarked. Conversely BBB is led to the ball and outmarked more often than not even at VFL level. This, of course, is a great rebound for any opposition. Up forward, Petty also has a spark of aggression and I reckon our small forwards walk taller because of that.

MFC Annual General Meeting tonight 20/2/2023 at 6:30pm
Katrina, therein lies part of the problem. If administration was moved to Casey then we would need to look for replacement admin staff. The admin were hired as CBD workers and may live north or west and travel to Casey every day would be difficult. The difficulty would also be for some of the volunteers.

MFC Annual General Meeting tonight 20/2/2023 at 6:30pm
Right at the end Ms Roffey told of at least a half a dozen councils she had contacted in the last few months regarding available land ( hectares as she put it) without luck. The club has been looking for 30 years we were told. Next question is when is time to give up. When is time to tell members that an inner city base is unlikely .Twenty seven million dollars doesn't go far when buy hectares in Melbourne.

Training Ground?
A great location and a great idea. A few issues to work through. The area West of the railway station and North of the course is now high rise apartments. There was parking there initially. The inside of the course is also parking. Several thousand vehicles park there for Caulfield Spring Carnival Meetings in October. There are two tunnels from the exterior to the interior of the course. Is underground parking on the cards? That is under the ovals. Of course parking for racegoers could be on the ovals though not ideal. I am actually quite hopeful about the prospect.

SEN: Dees the Best Side on Paper
I am excited by this SEN selected side. What makes it so good is the players that are not named.

Demonstone's and Flaubert's English Grammar for Demonlanders 101
Correct, my pet hate is using "amount" in place of "number". That is, an amount of money reached by having a number of coins. Another is using the collective noun "bunch" for everything.
